i feel like more productive with 8+, better keyboard, apps already optimised, bigger screen and better battery, and i was missing a lot my touchid, for me still the best way to unlock iphone until today... so, goodbye X, see you when an x plus will be available

until that time, the plus will be my mobile!

What's your average battery like on the 8+?

11.2

on X i had to recharge two times daily or more, a disaster

Thought it was me, I have people I know saying something must be wrong with my X cause it's dying so fast. Was talking to Apple chat with my 6S+ last night, it dropped 4% in 3 hours... The X was on the diagnostic screen for that time and dropped 20+%

I was afraid the 8+ would have worse battery than my 6s+ cause it's a smaller battery with a faster cpu

Im trying desperately to justify keeping the X but in the end then all this "progress" takes too many steps back for me.

My biggest issues:
- FaceID works perfect... except in the car where my dash mount is inches too far to recognize me
- Homescreen takes 1 step with TouchID and 3 steps with FaceID. I wish Faceunlock would go straight to home
- Screen size. After going Plus for 3 years then the smaller, less functional screen is a downgrade
- Camera is better than 7+ but only very slightly
- UI confusion. These gestures are fine if this is your only iOS device but I have a lot of "legacy" devices
- Battery. Again, The Plus has spoiled me because this kinda sucks

I do like the phone for many reasons but as the feature hype is dying down I'm realizing that.... its just another iPhone. Thats a good thing in that the iPhone is already great. But its a bad thing in that there is so little here to justify the price tag.

Screen is not bigger.

iPhone 8 Plus: 4.79x2.69= 12.88 sq in

iPhone X: 5.31x2.45= 13.04 sq in

But if you think it is bigger that’s all that counts.

I love my 8+. I have medium to large hands & can use my 8 one-handed but there are times it’s bulky.

I’m tempted by the X. I’ve spent about an hour with it in the store. Nothing really stood out beyond new and different.

Part of me wants a slightly lighter & thinner phone. I just don’t know if I could stick with it. The back bars around video are annoying. The notch in video is annoying.

That's unlikely lol
Lmaoooo...someone doesn’t use their phone to often!

Impossible numbers, and this is coming from a 7plus user.
[doublepost=1510021004][/doublepost]It’s well known that the plus phones have better battery life, but some of these numbers are unrealistic.
