First Apple Watches With Link Bracelets Begin Shipping to Customers

Only 11 months, assuming the second generation is released a year after the first. It could be longer.
Crazy how long this new product is taking to get to people. It "releases" in April but really releases in May/June... and yet they don't take flak for it? That's why I'm not an early adopter and on the "S" cycle.

It was promised 13-27 of May.
It get's delivered ON 12th of May, which is BEFORE the day promised.
So once again, under promised and over delivered.

Hang in there! I ordered my 42mm SG BSB within a few minutes of your order, and my status didn't change until yesterday. And then my bank account was charged, and later the shipment email came. Right now, less than 24 hours later, my package is on the UPS truck and Out for Delivery (the sweetest words ever). So you've come too far to give up now. Good Luck!
Something to think about. I was sure I wouldn't receive my watch by launch date since It was processing until Thursday morning. Lo and behold, Thursday morning I recieved my shipping confirmation. I live about 20 miles from the ship out point in the Bay Area.
Mine came yesterday. I feel like one of 50 people in the world that have one of these watches on my wrist.
A colleague of mine works with the police, as a consultant in security, fraud, identity theft and pickpocketing, etc.
He has tested all the new Apple Watch straps and commented that the 'link bracelet' strap is by far the easiest to undo and steal from someone's wrist.

SS Sports band
I ordered my SS with Black Sports band on the morning of 4/10 and as of this morning my order is still processing and shipping is expected between 5/13 and 5/27.

Not thrilled that there's no update yet.
Order still reads: "processing items" "delivers 13 May - 27 May"
That's still a huge delivery window. Figured since May 13 is tomorrow, maybe they'd update the order with something a bit more specific than two week window, for something you need to sign for, but, no.
Tried a quick chat with an Apple rep, to see if there was any news. Waste of time.
I ended up more frustrated due to too much bubbly, condescending promo speak and dodging a basic question. A whole paragraph starting off that my order is currently being prepared to go to the supplier etc etc. Had to read the whole thing twice and still didn't make sense ...

Just logged into my sunburst account and there is a mysterious 74.00 charge from APPLEONLINESTORESUS Hope that means some movement today..
Ordered the 38SS Brown leather Modern buckle for the wife... This is the second time i have seen a charge from the store on my account....

74.00? You think that's just a generic authorization or you bought someone for that amount?
I think they start charging the Apple care firs, that was howthey did to me, they charged to me since April 12 for the Apple care for the two watches I ordered, and today they charger for 1 of my watches, and the other watch still waiting. By the way, my payment method is PayPal
How is this possible?
The strap can be unclasped, yes, but then in order to continue taking the watch, one must slide it over the entire hand. Im pretty sure someone would recognize that... I would guess the modern buckle would be easier as it comes apart the same way, but once unclasped, its OPEN and you could then lift it off, as opposed to sliding it over the entire hand
