Can anyone confirm if the watch can stay on WatchOS3 while using iOS11? I don't like putting betas on the watch but I want it to work if I go with 11 on the phone early.
I don't see why Apple can't do both? Until recently, one of the things I've always liked about Apple is that it was both aesthetically pleasing AND functional. On the software side at least, that hasn't really been the case anymore.Makes sense that looks are more important than actual usability. /s
Public beta will start with beta 2 or beta 3, this version won't be available to the public, unless of course they download the dev profile from somewhere

Why does there need to be a huge UI redesign? The average person who's not a tech geek who gets easily bored doesn't want to have to relearn using their device everytime they update the software.
Beta is EXTREMELY BUGGY, despite very few changes ironically enough.

Did you read the release notes? It's a list so long you wonder if it would boot.
Verrry slow. Takes a few seconds just to open sub-menus in Settings.

If done properly, they shouldn't have to relearn using their device. And if the home screen is similar in look and feel to the android OS home screen, it should feel natural to any converts.
Besides, it wouldn't be the first time Apple forced people to relearn their devices. Hello swipe right for Today screen!
How does the Music app look on iOS 11? The Music app on iOS 10 for iPhone is barely passable, and the iPad version is downright horrible.

Well, had a good blast on my 12” iPad Pro. Pretty slick but quite a few bugs, which is understandable. One thing is making me go back to 10 though, touching the top of the page in Safari doesn’t scroll you back to the top. It’s doing my nut in, so back to 10 I go.
