First Betas of iOS 13 and iPadOS Now Available for Registered Developers With Dark Mode, New Find My App, Performance Optimizations and More

I take it there's a EULA to see these images? I use a corporate license - all I get is "no beta software for download", as well as a "The Apple Developer Enterprise Program License Agreement has been updated" banner
 
It is installing now on my OG 12.9, so we can call off the pitchforks and torches parade for another year.

Not the background.... but safari crashes when you go to upload a picture, I wanted to show you.

Hopefully these changes are in iOS 13 ?


Did they fix the Phone app? Where forever it would hijack your phone with an incoming call, where it should be a minimal banner heads up notification that drops down from the top, that has options to accept, or decline the call.

AoD ( Always on Display ) yet?

App anywhere placement? Been waiting, what, 12 years for this feature. Blows me away that you can't pick an app icon, and rag it and place it anywhere you'd like on the homescreen.

App Icon packs? Would be nice to have a option to change away from the same looking dated app icons that have been around, what 6 or 7 years since iOS 7 ?

Default apps option? Let the user decide which apps we want as default, not what Apple forces you with no choice.

Here's a hint for those running into issues updating to iOS 13:
"macOS 10.15 beta or Xcode 11 beta is required to sync or update a device running iOS & iPadOS 13" aka RTFM. :)
 
When you install via iTunes, make sure you option-click on Upgrade; not Restore. Guess which one this idiot did?

Those changes might be important to you, but I would bet they aren’t to the majority of users.

I’d argue with time machine, macOS is the easiest to revert, while iOS is still the same. Unless, camellia (beta) breaks time machine backup.
 
I’d suggest not upgrading to watch os6 until you can upgrade to ios13. For some reason my watch is now stuck in a loop and when you pair it, it tries to update the phone to the latest software update. Whoops will have to mess with it more later on.

ipad mini 4?

huh, that means this update is based on RAM alone and not so much on cpu power.
