iPhone XS Max First day I have carried my Gold XS Max out of the case

I'm starting to regret not buying the Gold instead of Space Gray.

So the day I got the phone on launch day, I took the plastic off the top and bottom and put it right into the clear case I bought. Today is the first day that I am carrying it "naked" and one thing I realized that I know others have said, but dang the gold on the stainless, is no where near a gold color. It looks more like a Brass that hasnt been cleaned in 50 years and is tarnished. More of a brown than gold.

I did notice though how sticky the stainless is with this gold coating though, No where near as slick feeling as my previous silver X was.

I loved the gold, my spouse would let me get it..so I bought the space grey. I have the silicon grey case on it.

You could try but I’d never guarantee it’ll come out, or you’ll remove the gold colouring. Try it at your own risk !!

Edit. But I have tried a cape cod cloth and it worked okay for me

I don't use cases, skins, bumpers, screen protectors or anything else like that. Strictly naked.

Wow thats in great shape. I kept my 6s plus out of the case but havent dared since my 8 plus and now XS max with all the glass front and back. Side note, what kind of work you in with 3 phones (pic 2) pimp? Lmbo.J/K

I'm a graphic designer, so no need for the extras.

But aside from that, I'm just me. I tend to keep my stuff. Either to put to a purpose or to give away to others who may need something. If I hadn't kept my wife's old iPhone 5 my daughter wouldn't have a phone right now. Same for some other people who I sent old phones to - because I had kept them.

When we do upgrade (which this time around will probably be 4+ years) we tend to use our tax refund. That allows us to keep the old stuff.
