Front line / retail employees rarely know of internal details of unreleased products, so I'd be extremely skeptical at this claim.

Said I was never going to get a leather one again, because I dropped my phone and cracked it because of the bottom being open.

Glad they're finally covering the bottom so I can go back.

The price though, $49 for silicone (which was the leather price in past years), perhaps $59 for the leather now?

I have had my eye on this one for the past week, I never heard of Bullstrap though.

Couldn’t agree more. Apple retail employees rarely have any advanced notice of any products. Don’t even bother asking them about this kind of stuff.

I just saw 4 colors (saddle brown, darkish blue, red and black). Will post pictures from the case on the phone today, looks great with the blue!
