So, if the wallet is $59... what are these going to cost?

I figured it'd be $10 more than the usual price of $49 since the silicone cases are $10 more too... but thinking that the wallet and a leather case would cost the same I'm doubtful.
Im going to guess $69-79 especially for the pro max? Im a fan of the apple leather cases, my xs max leather case has gone a long way

the iphone5S+leather case was the best config ever and that case had a bottom. im glad they brought it back.

Wish they would actually show at least the colors so I could decide before I'm groggily ordering as fast as possible early in the morning on Friday. Brown and black were a given. A new blue to complement the Pacific Blue would be nice. Hopefully there are more leaks before Friday. I ordered a thin clear case from Totalee and I'm curious to see how it looks because it's so thin. I don't normally buy cases that thin (it is a little thicker than their really thin opaque cases) but the durability of the iPhone 12 Pro has me thinking it won't be an issue. I'll go careless once they strengthen the back glass some more and maybe make it not so expensive to replace.

If I don't like the Totalee case I'll get one of these if they aren't too expensive. I like that the bottom is finally covered.

the cases will cost the same as they always have. $54 (including tax)

Looks great. Why are people objecting to the closed bottom? I think it will protect the phone more.
I have an iPhone stand I've used since iPhone 5 and works best when the case is open bottom. Otherwise the connection to the lightning port sometimes doesn't link up well

Should be available for store pickup on Friday.

So glad for the full bottom tho. X, XS, and 11 Pro all got really scratched and dented there.

Finally, the return of the lip! I’ve always loved the feel of the Apple leather cases, but hated that it never fully covered the phone since the iP6 smh Got a Nomad leather case for 12 Pro in case Apple continued this design, but now excited to get my hands on the black one!

I don't see that happening... the silicone ones went up $10 this year to $49 (due to the magnets?) I hope the leather ones only go up $10 too. I guess we will find out in a few days.

I bought the clear MagSafe case so I could see the gorgeous gold color of my 12 Pro but damn it this thing is just as slippery in the hand as the stainless steel gold by itself. Wish it had ‘grippier’ sides.

So if I understand this correctly the bottom of the case covers the lightning port on all the apple cases ? I take it in an attempt encourage people to use MagSafe. But how are you meant to use CarPlay on the majority of vehicles which do not yet have bluetooth sync ? I like the apple leather cases and have had them for lots of my phones, but I guess it's time to go elsewhere. To purchase a third party bluetooth sync for CarPlay, MagSafe, and case as well as a new phone is a very expensive ask.
I'm seeing a hole for the lighting port and speakers. The leather case for my 11pro has that area completely open on the bottom, which I prefer. I also like the rounded edges for practical purposes, though the square edge does look snazzy.

i am the opposite. I am glad they finally closed it completely. That’s where all the crap got in on my 7 Plus and XS Max scratching it across the lower half of the back
Same. When my 6S Plus’ screen finally broke guess where it landed. After 6 years it took landing on the bottom to destroy it. I’m super glad they closed it up.

Does anyone know what material the ring on the inside of the case is made of? It almost looks like a sticker that can be peeled of.

While I'm a long-time Apple fan, I am increasingly baffled by some of their concept implementations. I used to believe that it was because of their conservative nature, ensuring a more refined approach. Be it an aging 60Hz device or late to the game OLED. Perhaps it's a marketing strategy to entice consumers to upgrade more often.
