This has to be comedy... Bad one. Otherwise you're months late on the comment.
This is no comedy. I have advised the facts, health features were removed, and its not waterproof. This is the truth, and even the Apple employee agreed with me.

Just because you don't want a product, doesn't make anyone who does a fool.
No watch is truly water 'proof' they are water resistant. This one is resistant to most normal exposure, you just can't go swimming with it on.
And the health cuts were done so Apple didn't have to jump through a bunch of regulatory hoops.
As for comparing it to your Swiss mechanical watch, you are comparing two completely different animals. Your Swiss watch is no where near as accurate at telling time, and telling time is all it actually does, assuming you keep it on your wrist every day, or it will wind down and not work at all.
Also a Swiss mechanical watch from a major player like Rolex or Omega is going to cost several thousand dollars, versus a few hundred for the Apple Watch.
Not at all. I love my iPhone and my MBP. Just wanted in on a launch day experience, I didn't get it, so I chose to take my ball and go home - harming no one in the process.

CC wasn't charged and no tracking info was posted by close of business. I wasn't getting it tomorrow.
Wow I'm not buying the watch but i'm not gonna sit there and insult people who do. It shows that you truly envy those who can afford it more easily than you can.
I had interest in the Stainless steel link bracelet until I saw the prices knowing full well this watch would be just a vanity purchase, I chose not to get one. I can afford it but I'm aware that I don't really have a use for it other than it just being a Tech watch. I bought me a GTX 970 for my PC rig which came with GTA 5 and Witcher 3 now this is something i could Really use![]()

Im saying these people that bought them have no idea of how flawed this watch is. Its not even waterproof which is not acceptable. I can afford one but prefer my Swiss made Tissot - fully automatic with sapphire crystal cover - no battery charger required, no battery replacement required.
My first impression is pissed, you MUST pair it with the iPhone in order to use it. Is the iTunes-to-activate-your-iPhone **** all over again. No buy for me ##
Got my 42mm SS with Milanese Loop today. Will be returning it asap. Even the 42mm is just too tiny. I have doubled checked that it is 42mm (just in case they accidenlty packaged it wrong) it just feels too small & I honesty don't have big wrists.
I did not get a chance to try on before the pre-orders. I wanted to make sure I got in & didn't have to wait 2 months if I missed out.
I'm not just feeling it. If they make a 46mm for the 2nd generation then for sure. Plus having it constantly connected to my phone via Bluetooth is killing me phones battery.
Damn really? My Armani Exchange watch feels a whole lot bigger / more volume & looks size appropriate on my wrist. Looking at my wrist now with this 42mm Apple Watch .... well I'm just saying it looks weird. It looks tiny. They won't make it 46mm, you can be sure of that in version 2, or 3 (so, your in for a 3 year wait minimum). BTW, 42mm is the current standard size of watches (you can check watch sites for that). For a long time, they were even smaller, it is just recently that they've started to become much bigger.
Writing this is like going to a store and waiting in front of the cashier watching people checking out TV's.
Ah man I wasn't too bothered when i clicked play but when I saw that he has my watch (as in the exact model) my heart really sunk. I can't stand waiting over another week when I placed my order within a few minuets!! ARGHHHHHHImage
While the first Apple Watch reviews published*over two weeks ago, the devices are now making their way onto customers' wrists, allowing us to see broader first impressions of Apple's first new product since 2010's iPad.

Several posters in our forums have pointed out an unboxing experience fairly unique to new Apple products as it appears that the traditional Apple stickers are not included with the packaging. Additionally, several posters have reported receiving emails*notifying them that they can schedule an online Personal Setup where Apple will, through a video session, walk a user through setting up the Apple Watch and pairing it with their iPhone.
Another aspect of the Watch that users are noticing is how comfortable it is to wear. One user on Whirlpool pointed out that while he was originally going to use the sport band for exercise, he thinks its nice enough to wear regularly. One MacRumors reader told*us that the Watch is indeed comfortable to wear with the build quality being "perfect", but that he found the sports band slightly awkward to put on at first.
YouTube: videoOther bands that have seen favorable impressions include the Milanese Loop, which also has a post dedicated to its unboxing in the MacRumors forums. Other early impressions include users finding certain less advertised features of the Apple Watch, such as the "Ping" feature that allows users to ping their iPhone from their Watch, to be very useful.
Finally, while most users are reporting easy setup and pairing processes, some are having difficulty pairing their iPhone and Apple Watch, with the Watch not displaying the needed pairing code (Update: Restarting appears to fix the problem). Others are noting that syncing a 1 GB music playlist is taking longer than desired.

Mine's just arrived and I love it! I'm in the UK.

I was playing with a demo model at the Apple store and was scrolling through the emojis. I found it quite choppy and not too responsive. I was thinking it was because it was a demo model.
Anyone else find that? Love to hear from people who bought one who aren't running the demo software.

It's a shame because it's built well. Feels great on the wrist & not heavy.

Waterproofing: What a load of B.S. Watches costing even a couple of hundred dollars are waterproof, so this should be as well for this price range. If you get stuck in rain or drenched, your watch is stuffed - then you have to buy a new one.
Need? Maybe not. But if you can have more music with you to choose from, why not?
Why not just give it to a good friend, they'll be very very happy ;-).
