Seeing what the 9" "Pro" is (Pencil support and extra speakers) really makes me question whether or not I can seriously consider them to be "pro" at this point.
They're only labeled Pro to aide Apple in extracting the highest possible profits.

After you've paid, Apple doesn't care what it's used for or perceived as :)

When are they going to make some design changes and get rid of their giant frames/bezels? They could fit the 4.7inch screen in that frame if they didnt have huge frames/bezels around the phone.

Pretty sad they keep trying to get thinner and thinner when no one gives a **** about that but their phones are super tall and wide because of huge bezels.

The iPhone SE is a way for Apple to test how the market responds to what is essentially a flagship 4" model. If it reacts favorably and sells well, then they would probably start releasing one every year, probably starting with the iPhone 7s.

One significant feature I wouldn't mind seeing for iPhone 7 is three screen sizes: mini/7/plus "All for one. One for all." With feature parity across the board.

I wouldn't even care if they mini was the exact same price as the 7 regular, I'd buy one. Apple, please release a flagship iPhone 7 mini with every feature the regular iPhone 7 receives. But for God's sake start the lineup this year with 32 GB.

Anyone notice the 9.7 ipad pro has an embedded sim, and is the first Apple device to have LTE Advanced?

Yeah but I'm not sure why it still has a SIM slot. Is the Apple SIM only supported by certain carriers?

I found today's event very boring. We pretty much knew about the new iPhone in advance and the new iPad doesn't seem exciting.

Yeah except while some rumours had it sporting a 6-like (rounded edges) design, this came in looking like yesterday's phone, even though it has today's internals. They really should've given it a 6/6s design.

Big fan of the iPhone SE. I've been holding onto my iPhone 5 since I find the look and size of the 6/6S to be a total eyesore. I'll definitely be upgrading to this new model. I've always felt iPhones 4-5 had the best visual aesthetic (at Steve put it, almost like a Leica camera) and I'm so glad they kept it with the new SE model. Nothing earthshattering, but it doesn't need to be. Why fix what's not broken? Good job, Apple!

Now that is some SErious innovation right there. :D

Jokes aside, iPhone SE has a hidden ace up its sleeve: battery life.
Thats what you get when you have a reasonable thin iphone than an anorexic iphone, which doesn't protrude plus I still love the 5's design better than my own 6's.

Now if only they could sort out on what exactly is "space grey".

You see, it is a spectrum of colours.
It depended on how much sunlight is available and how far away it is from the Sun. Also, it depends on how much reflection on the surface. :p

Why does one need to have first impressions of the iphone 5se? it's a gimped iphone5 w/ the same OS as the current iphones. Am I missing something here? iPad pro is just a smaller iPad pro. Are we trying to see what the impressions are holding a smaller size?

There's really nothing wrong with my 5s, but this is tempting at its reasonable price. That said, it has nothing that I need, just things that seem nice to have. Has anyone found Live Photos to be more than something you try once or twice? It's the one thing that's really piqued my curiosity.

What a ridiculous phone. 16GB of storage is just disgusting now. Truly. A 16GB device with a 4k camera...? Good luck, you'll use up all of your storage in just a few minutes.
The 6S and 6S Plus both have 16 GB models. Is it ridiculous? Yes. Is it pointless to make that comment about this particular phone knowing the significantly more expensive phones also have 16 GB base models? Also yes.

Seriously, maybe 4 years ago I could have understood it. But now....when the cost to bump it up to 32GB would have been LITERALLY pennies...truly unbelievable.
The 64 GB model is still several hundred dollars less than 6S. This phone is actually cheaper than I thought it would be.

They had done the same pretty much every year, so what makes this year soo special that they had to use "pro" name???
Because hardware and more RAM now make it possible for iOS to do more. We haven't seen iOS yet and it's not like Apple's software has been sitting there twiddling it's thumbs the past 4 years.

Exactly. Just because some of us will be going down in screen size doesn't mean it's a downgrade.

What? You're going down from a paltry 4.7" 750p screen to a 640p 4" screen - THE EXACT SAME DISPLAY AS THE 5S in 2013. didn't you catch the Apple presentation intro? It's all about RECYCLING AND REUSING! They did this on purpose to prepare you in case you dare use your brain to think hard about what Apple is really doing.

Several press people at the event said they didn't spot Jony Ive there...but it looks like he's standing next to Jeff Williams in this photo. Unless that's some other exec with a shaved head?

It's a BIG upgrade from the 5s, the last 4" iPhone.

If you you are not interested in 4" phones, then this simply isn't intended for you.

Glad you have other choices. But my begrudge others, their choice?
I still have my 5S and will keep it for when I want a smaller phone. I don't think the SE is a must have if you still have a 5S. I do have a 6S and a 6S+ and a 6+ still.
