I don't see that Donald Duck sticker pack. I must have it.
Just search "Mickey" in the Messages Store. It's in the "Mickey and Friends" pack.

Really like this game called "MsgMeTicTacToe"! Free and the other player doesn't have to download it.

So you do understand where I'm getting at.
Yes. But you can't add voltages. Higher voltages doesn't always equate to higher power usage. It's power or current that consumes battery charge, not the voltage. That's elementary high school physics.

But you point was valid. The A10 sounds like it's a very smart bit of kit. For normal usage, using an efficient low powered core isn't going to have any notable impact on performance, but will greatly reduce battery drain. All we need now are highly efficient OLED screens. Battery tech is really not advancing in line with other technology.

Or they limit two of the cores when they aren't needed to prevent the phone from going dead quickly.

You sound like you've never taken CS before but you talk like you have. Let me break it down for you.

4 cores are cool, but why limit them?

each core uses voltage. Lets just say 1 volt for the sake of it.

You have 4 cores = 4 volts. Easy enough.

Browsing the web only requires 25% of a core, but you give it 4 volts? why not just 1.75 volts and limit the other 3 cores to 25% power?

This game is amazing it's so graphically intensive. Yes well in this case we need 4 cores to process information. So we give the CPU die 4 volts so it can process happily as fast as it can. While we are just at a menu we don't want the battery to die as quickly so we will automatically adjust the voltage to use 2.5 volts so the game menu runs on 2 cores and the other two cores are idle.

If you think it's limiting, you obviously have no idea how hardware works.
Drats. My satire failed.

If you don't know what to do to your girlfriend on the weekend, you need more than this app.

Try to stay focused, this has nothing to do with what I'm going to do to my girlfriend. Trying to be funny all the time is just lame.

Please tell me that it's possible to turn this crap off or I swear, I will never buy an iPhone again (haven't in 5 years, but hey, I thought I might change my mind).

I'm not a hardware specialist by any means, and I'm glad you corrected me, after you said that I remembered back when I was OCing my CPU that the volts didn't change, but the Watts were adjusted on the fly. Thank you for the clarification on my post. (no sarcasm meant)
