I can't believe the Android losers are still telling the public that the Note 7 is the best phone ever made, even after Samsung is telling their customers to turn off their phones, and especially after it burned the hands off a 6-year-old kid.

What's an Android loser? Never met anyone in RL who identified himself with android or iOS. In fact most people (like 99% on the street) have no clue about the OS of their smartphone.

But how would a fanboy, whether Apple, Samsung or Microsoft, understand...

You should try Messenger by Facebook. I hate Facebook and never use it but Messenger makes you feel like you're using a couple year old outdated app with the stock Messages app from Apple. Being able to use the web version for Messenger is awesome. Doubt Apple will ever add the experience.
Why should I let Zuck have the keys to my life to use this "facility"? Frankly any sane person would keep Facebook at the end of a 400ft barge pole.

iMessage is now FB Messenger how nice... "innovation" or running out of ideas. This mandatory year cycle of phones and OS is really starting to show. I have had iOS 10 from the first beta and the only thing that is worth using is the Lock Notes.

Locking notes was available in like iOS 9.3 LOL

I personally know two people that have Androids. One is a line cook and the other is a bookkeeper. Both know what Android means. These losers have Samsung phones, which constantly have issues. Over the last couple of years they have spent many, many hours trying to get their devices fixed at carrier stores.

I also was an Android loser once; got malware, lost all my pictures, then my high-end phone started falling apart. I told these other losers to get iPhones, but they didn't listen. I'm about to get my third iPhone and can't be happier with the product.

Got iOS 10 updates to Pocket and IMDB. IMDB includes an iMessage widget, but it seems rather useless. All it does is let you send showtime links, rather than embedding the showtime info in a chat bubble. Maybe I was expecting too much.

Ok, you must be young and/or a bit infantile calling people with a different OS "losers". Being too much emotionally invested in tech stuff is fanboyism.

Just let people make their own mistakes (like you did) and let them enjoy their devices.

So we have a $750 smartphone in order to play rock, paper, scissors. Ugh.

Your mobile device is what you make of it. If that device only plays rock, paper, scissors - then that's your choice. Others may utilize the device for more complex tasks as well as some fun mixed in.

I do enjoy sweeping generalizations though :)

Actually this is great. My girlfriend and I use this technique to make decisions at times. Now when we're both at work we can decide who's word is last on what's for dinner or what we're doing on the weekend.

If you don't know what to do to your girlfriend on the weekend, you need more than this app.

You completely misinterpreted my post. That other guy said it was a waste for a $750 phone to have rock paper scissors, and I was making a point that those apps have been around forever. I didn't know how to link search results from the iOS App Store, so I posted from the Google Play store instead.
You're right, I did misinterpret. My apologies.

Oh for sure! Android's processing power is light years beyond iPhone! I just don't understand why this "Fusion" chip has to limit two of the cores... That's cause they can't figure out how to unlock all four cores.

Or they limit two of the cores when they aren't needed to prevent the phone from going dead quickly.

You sound like you've never taken CS before but you talk like you have. Let me break it down for you.

4 cores are cool, but why limit them?

each core uses voltage. Lets just say 1 volt for the sake of it.

You have 4 cores = 4 volts. Easy enough.

Browsing the web only requires 25% of a core, but you give it 4 volts? why not just 1.75 volts and limit the other 3 cores to 25% power?

This game is amazing it's so graphically intensive. Yes well in this case we need 4 cores to process information. So we give the CPU die 4 volts so it can process happily as fast as it can. While we are just at a menu we don't want the battery to die as quickly so we will automatically adjust the voltage to use 2.5 volts so the game menu runs on 2 cores and the other two cores are idle.

If you think it's limiting, you obviously have no idea how hardware works.

I think you're confusing volts with watts (power). But you're close. You can't just add volts like that!
