Huawei is targeting Apple customers 😂😂I doubt Apple are interested in the sort of customer that Huawei are targetting.

I don't see that here in the UK.Huawei is targeting Apple customers 😂😂
As much as people want it, we will never get iPadOS/macOS as one. Large majority of people buying iPads don't care or want that. They want to send messages, surf the web, and email. "Techies" want more, average customer, who make up the majority of sales, don't.I’m looking for newer technology to be integrated in new Apple hardware.
Like for example an OLED touchscreen on a MacBook. Merge iPadOS and macOS. Make it able to detach your screen from your MacBook/pro like others are doing. Now we’ve a crippled iPadOS and less capable macOS.
Give the iPhones 120hz screens from top till bottom. It’s common use in the Android world already.
Give the whole range of hardware more bang for the buck. I know it will eat into profits but they’ll likely sell more of them instead of the decrease in sales they’re in now.
Make the Mac, iPad, iPhone more compelling. And another form factor would help too.
Same model year after year after year is getting tiring. There are enough good examples from the competition they could copy.
Because Huawei is banned in Europe and the UK.I don't see that here in the UK.
Ah well not much competition then.Because Huawei is banned in Europe and the UK.
To be honest it feels sad. Back in the days unboxing was a part of the whole experience: you got charger, cable and headphones. And now basically all you get is a phone.
Back in the days where as a plucky upstart Apple needed to include these things to entice buyers. Now they don’t need to include those things. They also used to include a dock. Once removed, it became a € 55 add-on at this side of the pond.

Honestly, give it another few years and I could see Apple make the argument of dropping an included USB-C cable in the box for environmental reasons as well, as 'everyone already has one'. Greenpeace etc. would likely applaud it, even. They also used to include a dock. Once removed, it became a € 55 add-on at this side of the pond.

That’s the whole point of switching to USBC.Honestly, give it another few years and I could see Apple make the argument of dropping an included USB-C cable in the box for environmental reasons as well, as 'everyone already has one'. Greenpeace etc. would likely applaud it, even.
Don’t forget they removed the stickers too 🌚To be honest it feels sad. Back in the days unboxing was a part of the whole experience: you got charger, cable and headphones. And now basically all you get is a phone. High time to sell them without boxes at all, wrapped in some paper. After all, it is not a coffee company, they should rethink their packaging strategy. And even coffee companies think how to box their stuff better so that consumer will definitely grab their brand over another

The creases on this thing are very noticeable. This is one reason as to why I don’t like ‘foldables’. You can only open and close a thing so many times before damage gets done, no? Are the creases just as visible on the Samsung Fold 6? Or any of them for that matter?! I’m not saying the creases shouldn’t be there at all, but when the screen is black, it’s very visible. How would this not mess with you after putting out so much money towards a phone?
From your own article about RCS on iPhone:EU didn’t enforce RCS. You need to get your facts straight. The EU did not consider iMessage as a “Gatekeeper”, thus the rule was never enforced.
Again you are misinformed, EU USB-C has to do with charging only, has nothing to do with connectivity or what devices they support through that port. Apple could have avoided it completely by removing the port and going to wireless charging only. Thankfully they didn’t!
Outside of the charging mandate, What apple does, or does not enable for connectivity and speeds is still up to them for these ports.
The EU eventually decided that iMessage is not a gatekeeper service, so isn't subject to any regulations. From your own article about RCS on iPhone:
In the European Union, legislators are developing laws that would require Apple to make changes to iMessage to make it available on other platforms so that iMessage users aren't locked in to Apple devices. With RCS, iMessage has fewer benefits that are unavailable cross-platform, and closer feature parity is available on iPhone and Android devices.
While I don't have too many extra Apple chargers, I did buy one of the Anker Nano Chargers (with USB-C port on it) a year or so ago, and I will say its been very reliable. And puts out more juice than the traditional small Apple charge adapter cubes -- so charges iPhone or whatever faster.I have a drawer with lots of the apple chargers, swapped them all out for Anker Nano Chargers (30W). Smaller, more wattage, very compact. I don’t want a company to include a charger, better options exist. Now the sticker on the other hand 😥 bring back the multicolor apple…
30 watts in that nice little form factor is why I like it. As well as the USB-C, only a few cables left on the old A.While I don't have too many extra Apple chargers, I did buy one of the Anker Nano Chargers (with USB-C port on it) a year or so ago, and I will say its been very reliable. Love your definition of "agency". "Woe is me" is a little bit middle English or even 1920s drama.Having agency means you are in control of your life, what you do, having the ability to influence your behavior and decisions, the ability to do tasks that you believe are important, ability to make choices independent of others, etc. You're in control of your destiny (and not in control by some other person or corporation).
"Woe is me" is a common expression used by (or to describe) people who are perpetually unhappy and sad. They can't get out of the hole they believe they're stuck in. They have no agency over their lives.
Curious the specified reason for that? There has been speculation that Huawei hardware/software don't offer any backdoors for the spy agencies, and for that reason, the powers that be, want to limit the markets Huawei can sell into. Perhaps Rob Braxman will eventually chime on Huawei, he seems to be big on security, and rants on Apple, Windows, $MS, but as of yet, I have not seen him talking much about Huawei.Because Huawei is banned in Europe and the UK.
