Not trying to be an ****** here, but either your camping out for a week or your not. If you come and go for hours at a time, your out of line and no longer camping. Not trying to be an ******, just saying. Its like camping in the woods, you don't take a time out and go to apple bees then come back. I dunno, just my opinion. I know it is tough, but your cheating your adventure if you leave for hours at a time to hang out at someone's apartment.

Clearly that is not his intent and he never said it was. His "camping" is a means to hold his place in line as the first person.
How did you go to someone's apartment or shower at someone's apartment if your waiting in line or camping out?
iFrankie said:I think it has become very clear that Justin is the official first person in line. Justin could go grab a bite to eat and everything would be fine when he got back.
Apple, Best Buy, etc have usually respected who the first person in line is (especially when they are there a week in advance).
I'm not sure why people get so hung up on this stuff. Justin's spot in line is covered.
It's nice of them to do that, but it seems a tad lame to me. Either you are camping out or your just goofing off. Again, I know it is hard, but he took on this challenge. If he is going to leave and go hang out at someone's apartment, he might as well sleep at his own place as well. Just wait there during the day or something. It just cheapens it for me. All I'm saying.
Look, what he's doing is freaking hard. He is securing his spot in line for a week. If someone was to come there while he is gone, technically as unfair as it would be, they would be first in line.Loves2spoon said:so he shouldn't leave to go shower?
when your camping don't you jump in the lake to wash off and go pee? lol

I hope you are in your first regular claim, because you're withering away your time camping when you should be applying for a job.

Do we know if justin is paying full price or extending an ATT contract?
I just ask because in his interview vid he mentioned being first in line for past 2 years.... so I'm assuming he's buying full price?
Maybe not.
Just curious![]()

But as long as he comes back and there's still nobody else there, it's a non-issue. He's not doing this for a Guinness world record or anything, he's having fun (and thankfully staying clean). And even if someone else were to come along, it would probably be someone who is fairly good-natured (at least enough to camp out for nearly a week) and who would understand when he needed to take a 20 min break.
Jesus dude. Are you the official camp out judge?
I've purchased each iPhone since 2007 on the first day they were available. My upgrade price for the 32GB iPhone 4 was $299.
Now, last year, with the release of the iPhone 3GS, my upgrade price was $499. That wasn't full price, but it was discounted by AT&T (from the full $699) as a courtesy to 3G owners. So, essentially, the last subsidized iPhone I purchased was the 3G in 2008. Thus, I am eligible for $299 this year.
I suspect Justin's situation is the same.

WTF are you talking about?

He went to take a shower. He didn't go and play games or something. Just a shower. Who cares?
