Yea I'm in the same situation, I'm stuck without an iPhone and I have to use this stupid Windows Mobile phone for the time being.
That would suck if he dosed off and someone jacked him.
so the journey of Justin is over, whats next to keep me entertained for a week at work?
Did Justin get anything special for waiting in line for whole week?
Well, I'll give a quick update. I dropped Justin off @ home about 45 minutes ago. I assume he's still soaking in the tub. He'll probably crash hard and get some much needed rest before posting an update.
But he got his iPhone as well as a bumper for it. Forgot to ask what color he got.
I got there around 4:45 am and was about 300th in line. Around 5:30 the split they lines which put me closer to 60th. I think they took a 5/1 ratio of reserved to non-reserved. By 8:15 I walked out with my iPhone. Ran home and showered, came back and gave Justin a ride home. As soon as I got to work, walked into the CIOs office and let him marvel over the new iPhone.![]()

Hi guys,
After a very long eight days for waiting in line I was finally able to buy and get my hands on a new iPhone 4 this morning.
It was a long a crazy night as people from all over lined up at the Knox Street Apple Store in Dallas, TX. Over 300 showed up for the launch and someone even brought a swimming pool!
The past eight days have been a new experience and adventure, which is the main reason I came in the first place. Not for attention, but to experience and live a portion of my life the way I wanted it to be by doing something different and crazy that no body else would have the guts to do. The second reason would be to get the new phone.
Things and money will never define who you are, but doing what you want to do and living your life without someone running it for you will make you a better person and give you a better way of seeing the way life should be. That is the moral of my story and part of the reason why it got the media's attention worldwide. We all live in a crazy world today and sometimes we all fall short to realize this.
Thanks to everyone who have kept up with following my adventure and story the past week. I also thank those for give out of their good heart for their generous support and gifts even though I wasn't expecting anything in return. It's good to know there are still good people in this world and those who like to give.
Thanks again!
Justin
He will no doubt get something free because of his dedication.
He did macrumors gave him a 75 dollar gift card and he got 60 for wearing a shirt to advertise for someones business.
I love the comment from Justin about it just being for the experience not the attention. I was in line and overheard a guy talking to him and mistakingly the guy said Justin was first in line at the store, just stopped him a yelled, "Excuse me I am first in th WORLD, thank you very much!" then stormed off. Later when I was walking to the restroom I heard some people talking about another case of him demanding that people ecknowledged that he was first. I even was in the employee area of the apple store for a long time and saw the employee's showing off a particular bad photo of Justin that got on the front page of the Dallas morning news and they were saying man that duh is such a dick.
Sorry to ruin your hopes and dream I thought he would be a nice guy but no just the kind of person you would expect to line up 8 days early.
