I don't want to be a downer, but am I the only one who thinks the phone looks.. well not as nice as expected, I have to admit, I think the 4S actually looks slicker.

And also (first time iPhone owner to be here) doesn't it come with a plug? That thingy in the middle of the box, is that the plug? The pinks look so thin..

I think it's a little premature to judge the actual look of the phone based on a really crummy picture taken by a guy who didn't take off the plastic cover.

In the Settings app, under General. It's like that on the Verizon iPhone too. If you go to Settings, then General, then "Regulatory," you see all the FCC/other Governmental agency markings and certifications.

Anyone else think the picture looks fake? The shadows don't match at all.

of course, it's been shopped. it's pretty easy to tell these days, they just stretched an iphone 4, adjusted the tint, shaved the corners... but if you look closely, you can see it was sloppily done. Either that or it's a fake chinese fauxpaux mockup make from pastic parts so it just looks cheap and fake.

Correct. If you zoom in and look very closely, you can make out the small print faintly through the plastic of the tiny black on black writing.

Looks like the apple logo and iPhone font are raised slightly. That would account for the air pockets around them. That's kinda nice cuz it would help reduce scratching on the back of the phone. Especially the camera glass.

I don't think they are raised, it is actually engraved. I noticed this in some of the leaked pictures a few weeks ago, I think both the Apple logo and the iPhone letters are engraved.

If you're talking about from apple website, then yes mine says the same thing. I had to goto ups.com and put in my phone number in the reference section and that showed my tracking number and when to expect delivery

If you're in the US I'd say we probably won't receive the "shipped" notice until the phone reaches the states and leaves the courier who will actually be delivering it to the house/apt/business.

My wife's is in Alaska and mine is in Tennessee. If you use your phone number (the one you entered on your billing info) and your zip code, you can check on www.ups.com under "track by reference"
