They should, and they need to. Not to start the whole "Steve would have never allowed this" but it's seriously hurting them. However small updates are going to be, I miss the days when Apple events/keynotes were full of mystery and excitement. Nobody knew what was going to happen until the day Steve pulled out a shiny object from his pocket. Now they're painfully boring and basically just Apple confirming leaks.

the difference is in you. if you visit rumor sites, youre going to come across leaks, and youll spoil your surprise. thats your choice.
