I still put my phone to my ear when speaking many times so for me, the plus is too big. Anyway, can't wait until Friday. I'll be at my local AT&T store 04:30 in NYC waiting for my iPhone 6.

Can anyone tell me what the 'predicted' resale value on an iPhone 6 would be exactly one year from now if I were to purchase (order) one this week? Let's say I bought it full price this month (no contract), would I get at least 50-60% back when I resell it one year from now?

Note 3 owner and I'm not impressed. If the iPhone 6 plus caught up to the Note 3 then Note 4 has no problem winning phablet of the year.

At its September 9 iPhone event, Apple provided multiple publications with iPhone 6 and 6 Plus review units. The embargo has now lifted on review posts, so we have gathered some of the relevant excerpts from each site in order to highlight general release reactions to Apple's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Apple's two new devices are essentially identical in design aside from the difference in screen size and the battery life/optical image stabilization in the iPhone 6 Plus, so we've chosen to combine the device reviews into one post.

Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available to the public beginning on Friday, September 19. Apple is currently accepting pre-orders for the devices in its online store, but shipping estimates for the iPhone 6 are at 7 to 10 days while estimates for the 6 Plus are at 3 to 4 weeks.

It's about Friggen time they came out with a big phone, Now I can finally retire my Droid Maxx and go back to the iPhone.

PS: The Droid Maxx has actually been a very fast, very well made, very nice phone for me with a big screen. But I'm going back to iOS now that it has what I want, big screen and big battery. My Droid Maxx will make a fine Netflix Nightstand phone tho ;)

Except no one really cares about the latest Samsung flagship when the new iPhones are pushing out 4M iPhones in 24 hours...even Android fans prefer phones like the HTC One M8 or the OnePlus One - and I don't blame them.

Looks like an awesome phone! After watching that video, I'm most definitely glad I went with the black version.

Why do all pictures of the 6+ only show 5 rows of icons vertically with the last row unoccupied? It's weird none of the bloggers/ reviewers have taken a picture of the 6th row being populated. That was immediately what I was drawn to looking at the home screen.

iphone 6/6+ review on Recode uses the extra row.

The verge guy answered all of our questions by finally placing it inside his jeans pocket. Looks like those were skinnyish type jeans. I applaud you.

The camera quality is important to me so I am thrilled to read Nilay Patel's review of the 6 Plus where he says...

"The iPhone 6 Plus camera is the best smartphone camera I’ve ever used. Apple’s holding firm at 8 megapixels while everyone else is racing to put ever-bigger numbers on spec sheets, and it feels like the right decision: the iPhone 6 Plus focuses faster, works better in low light, and generally produces the best photos I’ve ever seen from a phone."

I wonder how does it compare with nokia 808 or Lumia 1020.

My initial reaction to the new iPhone was happy, but not super excited. But after all the reviews and hands on videos I have to say, I'm so excited.

It will be a great updated to my iPhone 4S, which has been a great phone.
