Why are "men" ordering pink phones??

Oh, I missed to add the smiley! But I do find it amusing how my comment inspired some nice come backs. Anyway, the shirt I wear today is actually kind of pink. And I do love the red colour. Apple, please release a metallic red phone!

My comment came from me considering how many ..people would have chosen which colour if Apple had released the very first iPhone with these colour options.

Peace!

Think it'll go well with my man purse.

Joking aside, I just don't see colour as gender specfic.

Listen man, I'm a bowler too. I'm sure you are way better than me. I am not contesting that, I am just trying to say pink is straight up a feminine color. You probably won't admit it, but your friends probably flung off jokes to you about your ball. You probably got that color because of the connotation, in some sort of protest -- I don't know. But at the end of the day, pink is feminine thru and thru.

Just google the word pink, and peruse the front page. Go ahead and get your glimpse of realism for the day.

Pink was considered a manly color, blue for girls, until around 1920, neutral from 1920-1950, they "switched assignation" (sic) in the 1950s. This just tells you how ridiculous that whole affirmation is. Guess those pre wwII men were all women hey! That didn't reach Europe until much later, if ever in some countries.

No they were men. Probably the manliest men around. If back in the 20s-50s pink was for men, then sure! But today's day in age, where newborn baby genders are announced by what color a balloon is, PINK =EFFEMINATE.

If you are to use the argument you just posted, then you must admit to today's use of the color.

They're the side to beat now, since Freo is out. I was hoping for a derby for the GF, but that will be another year.

As for the RWC, I'd love to see another staredown between the Welsh and the All Blacks after the Haka.

Anywho, 3 more hours until I pick up the iPhone, and buy an additional Rose Gold 6S+.

They'd have to reserve at the Apple store, which the 3 stores in Oregon had all of their slots filled. Not sure about Delaware or the others' reservations, but those who wanted to scalp are now stuck making the drive up to Seattle, or wait.

BL.

So? Do you think by some magic those states don't have their own home-grown scalpers? Do you think they all live in one place far away and have to travel to these states? LOL!

That's my point. Unless you have a reservation, you are not getting a phone by walking into an Apple store today. Regardless of where they are, they are not getting one in those particular stores.

In Portland's case, all 3 stores are not accepting walk-ins. The next closest ones are in the Seattle area, where those scalpers would have to pay sales tax, plus the gas and time to get to those stores.

It doesn't matter where the scalpers are from. It matters that the stores that they would go to aren't accepting the walk-ins for them to go in and purchase. Their choices are to either make a reservation, order online, or wait.

Hardest hooking ball in the late 1990s:

One of the reviews: Bowling This Month magazine named this ball its ball of the year in 1997.

Oh, wait, there's more:

Currently thrown by the DV8 reps in this area, both of which are in the US Air Force, with one doing a tour in Kuwait. Want to call them effeminate?

There's your problem right there. You go off of assumption, when you don't have a bloody clue why someone makes the selections they do. In my case, I went for the equipment that works BEST FOR ME, and gives me the results I want, not how someone will think of me, whether to my face or behind my back. As long as I get the results, their talk doesn't mean a bloody thing... like yours.

So you rely on social concepts of today to base your limited belief. Didn't you just read the post I stated about how it was used as a colour of honour for the British? How it was a colour men wore prior and during WW1?

Mods, we should take this to PRSI now, since the poster here is dragging this to a social issue, and should keep his own limiting social constructs to himself.

I am starting to think that the "B" in "BL", doesn't stand for "Brad".

No worries. Actually, I should apologize. Bit jumpy and confrontational after a bad experience at the Apple store today.

BL.
That's too bad. I am just killing time, listening intently for the UPS truck. Good luck with whatever you are trying to buy. Whoa...truck is here!

Now I'm going to ask if the scalpers have a disability that precludes them from making a reservation. Do you think they didn't make as many reservations as they could as fast as they could? These people aren't stupid, they work the system to their advantage. They don't need walk ins.

If any person can get a phone then scalpers can get any number of phones.

I ordered the silver 6s because I hated the white bands on the rose gold (or so I thought). I may "secretly" switch my silver with my wife's rose gold tonight...
