Yeah, I have yet to experiment with 3D at all. Sounds like a pretty big bump "new feature". I know for a fact it will be better than the "new feature" Siri was... I look forward to trying it out on my iPhone 7 with no home button ;)

I hear the iPhone 8 won't have a screen. And the iPhone 9 won't have a battery. It's just a solid piece of metal that doesn't do anything. But it comes in Adamantium (colored aluminum)!

I pretty much said that. Why not just walk into a store? I guess I just don't understand why someone would pay more to not wait for shipping?.. Especially in such a shadey way, I mean it could be fake with a great shrink wrap. People are dumb I guess...

No, I don't think we're quite on the same page.

These scalpers are going to sell the phones to people where the phones aren't available. They'll be charging MORE than MSRP for the phones. zero sales tax areas are particularly attractive to scalpers, because of the extra few percentage points of profit, so Apple can do this one small thing to nip some of the scalpers in the bud.

I live in Baltimore. If I was going to scalp a phone, the gas to drive to delaware and back would probably even out with the sales tax costs. If I lived closer, though, it would be a no-brainer to buy things there and save the money.

I promise you, no matter how many men you list wearing pink (all who are coincidentally entertainment celebrities who can probably wear see through vinyl overalls and still make a "statement"), I can shatter your comparison with the names of females that wear it DAILY.

Lets not lie to ourselves. This day and age, pink is effeminate. Maybe one day that will change. Hell, maybe one day there will be a third gender, and their color will be hunter green. Who knows? But I do know one thing, PINK = FEMININE in today's day and age.

Also, I really don't care what phone anyone gets. But I think its completely ludicrous that all computer chair philosophers rise from the woodworks, and ALL OF A SUDDEN start professing their beliefs that pink shouldn't be tied to a gender, just because they selected rose gold during preorder on an impulse!

You have some interesting, closed minded and very dated theories on gender. You are aware of the number of counties that do in fact have a legal definition for the 3rd gender?

I am a huge fan of pink, hell I wouldn't have dyed my hair that color otherwise. I know plenty of guys who aren't afraid of pink. The one that are ... well, are the ones that feel their gender identity is being threatened.

Colors are not gender specific no matter how much you want them to be.

yes you are..... its not for local sale, but international... taxes are smaller in the states than they are other places (nj = 7%, australia = 10%) you buy them with 0% tax and sell them over seas to turn a profit

Yeah, I was thinking that too. But wouldn't a mafia think it more efficient to be located close to the shipment hubs in large cities, and forego the $30-$40 dollar margin improvement. I don't know, seems more small gang stuff in non-tax states. But are there really that many buyers who would want that savings in such a shadey way?.. Crazy if the demand is there like that. Come on Nightline!..

I hear ya, it's just crazy that they skim their margin in states that get those phones on a trickle. Why not just pop a truck in Philly?.. I am spoiled in Oregon, hit me up next go around, shipping is on you :)

One of the fun things about working in stores in both the DC and Baltimore areas is seeing different reactions to the color purple. Offer a purple accessory to a man in DC and you run the risk of insulting his manhood. In baltimore, though, it's all about that Ravens pride, and you can't always keep purple in stock at all.

Again, everything is just your perception.

Agree. I guess that I have never looked at colors one way or the other. Along with your comment, we were in Albuquerque last year for a wedding (Los Lunas to be exact). We stopped at a Walgreens and a few guys commented on my purple shirt (condescending tone). My wife was p*ssed and I just laughed.

places like russia and japan who didn't get the 6 for a couple months after its initial release.. brazil for example pay ridiculous prices there. I have a lot of brazilian friends who travel here to buy things

This thread has really gotten off-topic. Surprised it hasn't been closed. New Zealand = Pink?

Amazing how passionate people are about a colour they have not seen :)

NZ very black, and that's the only colour they care about right now with RWC

To me, it's less pink in appearance and more bronze-toned. Especially if you put the gold, silver, and rose gold iPhones together, it looks more like the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals at the olympics! Poor space gray comes in last /s

I take it you ordered the rose gold?

Oh my god, why the hell does anyone give a **** what color phone somebody else buys? If a guy buys a pink phone and paints purple polka dots on it, that's his right and nobody else's goddamn business.

I like how some people responding to the guy asking about men buying pink phones are making worse comments than his

My first impressions are that the phone is noticeably bulkier.

I think it's only 14g, but feels like a lot more.

In my case I like the way it feels , though I can see some complaing about it.

The Live Photos.....hmmm feels gimmicky , like a short video, I need more time to play with it, hate the blur just before they play
