the only people pissing and moaning are iphone apple fanboys who think unvirgin phones are uncool

not hip?

i'm not sure how so - i've seen a lot of fanboys and they sure are anything but

it's what i tell one of my good friends - big apple fanboy - fu steve jobs - fu and i hope that u hurt your smug self u selfish egomaniac bastard

may your children rob u of all your $$$

You don't look like you're at all biased. I'm just saying that Apple has a very strict security protocol for their phone for a reason. You on the other hand, seem to be content to dismiss any rational argument as fanboyism.

This actually happened to me yesterday. I had no idea about it, hadn't read a thing, and it just popped up on my screen with that Astley bloke. Restore doesn't help either, he's stuck there now.

If anyone has info on how to not have him staring back at me with those loving eyes let me know...

I found this here. If you must JB your phone, at least change the default passwords. There is now a more harmful version of this roaming around.

How to remove iKee:

The author explained (from JD’s interview) that there are 4 variants of this worm, and here’s how to remove them:

Variants A-C store files in these directories, so you have to remove them (may use rm in terminal)

/bin/poc-bbot

/bin/sshpass

/var/log/youcanbeclosertogod.jpg

/var/mobile/LockBackground.jpg

/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.ikey.bbot.plis

/var/lock/bbot.lock

Then, reboot the phone and change your password and re-install SSH.

For variant D, remove the following files in these directories:

/usr/libexec/cydia/startup

/usr/libexec/cydia/startup.so

/usr/libexec/cydia/startup-helper

/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.saurik.Cydia.Startup.plist

Reinstall Cydia.
