First iPhone X Orders Begin Shipping Out to Customers

I over slept and ordered through ATT website. It stated it should be delivered 11/3-11/10 but I’m not sure how they could have better shipping times than Apple’s site.

Anyone have any experience through ATTs website compared to apple?

I didn’t have a problem with the ATT site, and have always seen a Nov 3 delivery date from the get-go, and my transaction was completed at 15 mins after the pre-order began. My order details changed from “in progress” to “preparing to ship” this afternoon.

I've never been able to track a store pickup, I just wait for the ready for pickup notice. Could be just me not knowing what to enter into UPS tracking (store zip, order number, phone number, etc.) or they're not trackable or it's FedEx (never tried to track via FedEx).

Hopefully some one can tell us how if possible. I would like to know. I’m suppose to pick up Nov 3.

I can confirm that both my T-mobile & At&t handsets have a tracking number. I was about to get them by signing up for UPS mychoice than select "home deliveries " voila you have a tracking number with options to change shipping address or updates.

Shipping shows Nov. 3rd for both

Have they officially shipped yet or if not, how did you get this?

I don’t suppose mine will show up Monday before I leave for Australia for 3 weeks! . Good thing my roommate doesn’t like apple so she won’t take it. Ha ha

You could just get one while you’re down here . They’re legally required to be unlocked from any carrier and you technically could be up to 17 hours ahead of your friends home if you get it when a local Apple Store opens here!

Some information for you. If you decide to purchase the iPhone X in Australia, make sure you get a GST refund form from the store you bought the iPhone from. Make sure you save the store receipt and the box the iPhone came in. You can save more than 10 percent.

That is funny ! Do they stop in Anchorage just for fuel ? I can't see any other reason and if it is just fuel, not sure why it would show a scan if it's not off-loaded.

I found mine by tracking by reference on UPS as well with November 3rd as the delivery date. I'm jealous of the people with an early delivery date even though I know the packages will be held, but some do fall through the cracks every year!

And yet, every year it seems we have early deliveries.

Hardly. I've read a few very isolated cases of that on MacRumors, but it's pretty rare. Certainly UPS has made the occasional mistake, but their instructions from Apple are to hold until Nov 3.

What I have seen a lot of each year are people posting in the week leading up to deliveries that an earlier date is showing for them, they get excited, then inevitably it changes to "HOLD" and then changes to the scheduled release date. That's happened to me many times.

Many may sit in China all the way until Wednesday night, then all of a sudden leapfrog from China to Alaska to the central US and then to the local hubs for delivery on Friday. It drives people on MacRumors crazy when that happens

I can't wait for mine to make a pitstop in Anchorage to be flown down to Louisville, KY, just to make its way back to Anchorage for my Alaskan delivery!

Wow, no one has been reporting that the 64gb is 4-5 weeks out on shipping and the 32 is 2-3 weeks.

Have you checked your local store though? All the stores around me have 32gb available today

Me, too. One of the IUP checkout options was pickup and I was able to select a time window on 11/3 so I fully expect my phone to be present when I show up! I would be more confident of that of course if I received a ready for pickup notice the day before or day of.

Don't be daft. You have a life. Doing things you love doing, such as waiting for a product you are exited about is all part of life. I think people who use that phrase for other people are the ones who really need a life.

So I guess with orders going out on time and shipping dates being changed to reflect shorter wait times, I guess not that many people ordered the iPhone X.

You need to know the amount of stock available to come to that conclusion. I personally don't believe rumors of only 2 or 3 million devices being ready for launch day. Also, when it comes to deliveries, Apple generally does under promise-over deliver.
