I can't believe how many people love watching unboxing videos. It's 2nd only to watching pain dry.
I think it dates back to the original iPhone launch when they first debuted it; the phone was to be revealed at precisely 9:41 am PT. Perhaps someone can confirm? I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.
The silver does look good! I ordered the space gray having gone silver previously but because I have my phone in a case at all times and because the front color is the same in both cases, I suppose I could have gone with either model...

Darn, that black camera unit on the silver is ugly! It sticks out like a bad car dent.
Hey at least the EU is trying to get Apple to stop cheating on their taxes and stealing from you.
That’s been my complaint since the iPhone 6. I hate having to put the phone in a case just to got rid of the camera bump. Now I have to do the same with the iPad so it can lay flat when writing. Is just poor design.
When did 5.8 inches in a 19.5 : 9 ratio with a notch become a large OLED display in the current Age?

Only for US models, European models still have the text.

that's exactly why I opted for the space grey version. I've had the white/silver for years and was considering getting the silver but since the front of both colors is black/space grey I decided to get the black/space grey. I think it would bother me to have silver/white on the back and black/space grey on the front.
So you think they would have included the AirPods if Jobs was CEO? Ridiculous comment. Bashing Tim Cook without any good reason is in fashion.
I think this time is well blended unlike iPhone 3GS which felt odd to have half white half black
