A day early and a pretty fair list price of under $2000 with overnight delivery included. How long do you guys think it will take to sell?

I would think quick but also depends on how bad someone wants it.
I guess we will find out if there is really any demand for these phones. That's the 256gb Verizon version unlocked for all 4 US carriers.

What's to prevent the buyer from then claiming "Hey I received an empty box!"

I just don't get the amount of risk one would take with these high priced items which attract so many fraudsters.

I got scammed on ebay like that, luckily it was only for Apple Care (when they had boxed AC with a pin). Buyer claimed there was no PIN, paypal refunded the money without even telling me, i had no recourse. Out the money and lost the apple care. Learned my lesson that ebay/paypal is trash.

True, I'm a Craigslist meet at my bank type person with $100 bills that get deposited in my account ASAP

Assuming it doesn't say "delivered on ....." and "signed for by ......" I'm sure they can.

This side or that side?

To be fair to Ebay.... “delivered on” and “signed by” has never stopped Paypal from yanking funds from a seller account based on what I’ve heard. I’ve been lucky with both Ebay and Swappa and will ONLY ship to the confirmed address.

Looks like he is not going to get his asking price. Any guesses what the selling price will go down to?

Correct on eBay but a PayPal purchase (not involving eBay) is a little more difficult to pull off that scam. Happened to me once and I prevailed with no hassle.

Interesting. On swappa.com, you have to physically have the device in hand. Looks he got one early or is selling a review unit?

That's why I posted it, it's the first one listed, that actually has the phone. Craigslist and eBay so far it's just preorder people.

Ya, I just tried to get him to tell me how he got it early, but he wouldn't confess. 🙂

I'm picking mine up first thing tomorrow to try and get it listed before swappa gets snowed under with listings.

If you are a seller and the transaction is via PayScam I mean payPal...good luck...never again! Though I did sell my Nexus 6p a few weeks ago and hoping this buyer is a good person LOL
