My AirPods arrived about 4 hours ago. I can't compare them to the first generation because I haven't bought the first generation. I like them a lot and I will never go back to wired headphones.  should bundle them with every iPhone and a fast charging cable + wall adapter while keeping the price of the iPhone as it is.

The device switching capability is amazing. Connect iPhone to airpods and press play - starts straight away. Stop. Start playing music from Watch to airpods - starts straight away, zero delay. Stop. Press play again in iPhone - starts immediately.

If you device switch, a lot, these are a big step up from gen 1.

The sound is punchier, too. Perhaps it is a slightly tighter fit, not sure.

Grrrr... Apple's website said a signature was not required...

But UPS left a "Sorry we missed you" note on my door today.

Is that normal? Or does UPS take extra precaution because it's an Apple product?

Oh well... I'll make sure to be home tomorrow!
