His last line says it all:

"It'll be worth it when every app supports 3D Touch, but by then you'll be buying an iPhone 7"

I'm getting a 6S+ but still, That's very true. More than any other S feature, 3D Touch has the ability to actually improve the way you work. Many of us have Force Touch already on the Watch or new MacBooks and rarely use it because of how uneven the support for it is. So it's going to be hard to make that action a new muscle memory of it doesn't work on all your iOS devices or even on most of your key phone apps.

But still. Best Phone Ever is good enough for me and I'm ready to be their Guinea pig.

I believe all the major apps will support 3D Touch in the next 30 days or so. I'm talking major players in the productivity, social, photo/video space (and I'm assuming all the OEM apps do OOTB, you know, where there's a clear advantage to using it, or will get updated very shortly).

These early reviews are good. Everyone seems to like 3D touch, live photos, and every single one mentions the speed of the phone.

iOS 9 still looks pretty slow even with the A9 CPU and the Note 5's CPU beats the A9 in multicore score, but the A9 beats it with Single Core, (too bad Apps don't run on single cores anymore these days)

Single core performance is still the single most important metric for a good CPU design. I strongly disagree with your assessment apps dont run on a single core these days. Most apps have 90-100% of all logic on one thread. Some apps will spawn an additional thread for UI sake, but id bet if you did a search of the app store youd find a direct multi threaded call in less than 5% of apps.

More cores is great, but give me better single thread all day over an extra core.

All that said, I do still wish it had more cores.

S series rocks. But too bad these reviews don't. But that's what you get when they cater to the mainstream.

These are initial impression reviews. The full reviews will come out between now and Friday for the most part.

Can we put links in the OP to all the reviews?

I purchased the 6s+ simply because i wanted the bigger screen/battery life and regretted not getting the 6+ last year. Add in the better camera, processor, 3d Touch, always on Siri and other features and it seemed like a no brainer to me. Especially when i sell my old iPhone 6 and it washes out the cost of the subsidized cost of the 6S+.

German first impression of 6s

He really likes. the "selfie flash", that produces natural looking skin tones.
Minute: 2.00
His daughter likes the rose-gold iPhone.

Lol Nilay Patel, a guy who wears spike bracelets, says the 6s is not apple's best design
We already made fun of him for this when he dissed the Milanese Loop bracelet in a way that just left him wide open for it. I'm glad to see he still wears the spiked bracelet despite taking a lot of guff about his cuff.

This phone sounds almost future proof. I think it's going to get me through at least to the 7s. I'm hoping to pay this one off and keep it and pass it to my daughter when her hand-me-down 5s no longer meets her needs.

My 6Plus didn't quite make the cut and isn't staying in the family. It's going back to AT&T.

Oh no, discussion is going on.
And... I am a man and maybe will buy the Rose-gold one.
In these videos it's more a washed out metallic rose and not a girly pink.

Another german review is complaining about poor battery-life, but it's a magazine that doesn't like IPhones in general.
