Not interested in this at all, I've read Isaacson's book and quite a few other accounts of Jobs and a movie would only cloud my impression of the man.

Anyways I hope they have plenty of scenes showing Jobs dealing with bozo eruptions. That I might pay to see.

The line delivery in some places is really spot on. Being one of the few people on these fora* who's sat down and talked with the guy, I was taken aback by how CLOSE Kutcher came to his day-to-day speech sometimes.

*During Genius training in Cupertino several of us were eating in Caffe Macs and he came over and said "Mind if I grab this seat? It's murder in here at lunch time." He sat down, asked us about training, the stores, asked where we were from, etc. etc. Surreal, bizarre experience for all of us. 20 minutes later, he neatly wiped his mouth said "Thanks guys, good luck!" and took off.

A couple of months later, he revealed the iPhone.

To all the Ashton haters, watch the butterfly effect.

First, I reserve "hate" for something more important than an actor, or an electronic device.

Second, I saw "The Butterfly Effect" and it did nothing to change my mind that Kutcher is not an actor.

Not even close...

Sadly, even in this trailer Ashton Kutcher is just not that good of an actor.
He is himself, playing a part. I'm not going to rush out to watch it as soon as it is available because I personally don't like AKs acting.
It's like... AK hasn't grown up or matured in life yet and just comes across as a kid trying to play the part of an adult.
He needs to take a class on method acting, because his facial expressions and his eyes just don't show the emotion of the scene he is in. And his voice... ugh... his voice NEVER changes in any of his movie role.

If I come across this movie on Netflix, and I have absolutely nothing else to do, then I'll probably watch it.

Only because you think Kutcher "is just not that good of an actor"?
All the other actors, the story...what´s with that?
Sounds to me like you really have another problem with Kutcher than his acting.

I can't stand it when people say things like "Oh he's not an actor," "He always plays himself so he's not an actor," etc. Well he's definitely an actor. If you suck at your job that doesn't mean you don't do that job, unless you're fired because you suck so bad. Ashton is still acting, so he's an actor.

wow, this trailer officially got me very excited for this movie. Looks amazing.

Kind of depends on how you define an actor.

However, taking your point, then I'll say he is an actor...and in my opinion...an extremely, deplorably, pathetically bad actor.

I hope that is a fair assessment since you assert that he is an actor.:D

A movie that was nominated for 8 oscars and won 3 is not so-so....

You're talking about the Apple of maybe 2005. Now everyone owns at least one apple product, not just rich kids or hipsters. This is A CORPORATION. THEIR ONLY PURPOSE IS TO MAKE MONEY, deal with it. With your logic, I guess you don't own any electronic at all.

What makes you think everyone owns at least one apple product, or does "everyone"only applies to US citizens/European...? I'm quite aware of the fact that its only about the money, but if you took some time to read what i actually wrote you might figure out that i'm talking about the way they make Jobs look as if he's the business man with al the moral of the world. Fact is that his company exploits people, tells lies to its customers...etc (good example is the 1 year warranty issue in Europe)

Beauty

Someone who loves technology and is fascinated with everything to do with it who is absolutely going to see this. Yup thats me. Comon guys majority of people have some apple product any one who is a fan of Apple will go see this flick. The life of the innovator who made us the greatest quality computers, phones, tablets. He was a true genius. Hope Tim Cook can make some good decisions hahaha

That's fair, yup.

Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine, as stupid as it is.

Not stupid...but I would argue the being in a movie may make you a performer, but not necessarily an actor.

However, yours is also a reasonable position, too. I don't agree with it...but then again...what the hell do I know!:p

Idk what problems you are having in Europe, but in the U.S things are fine. And yes considering the entire developed world is in Europe + America that would mean everyone uses an Apple product. Don't deny it, just don't. I also don't get where you got the impression that anyone thought steve jobs had the morals of the world at heart. Nobody who knows anything about them would insinuate that. So why you're bringing it up, idk. Also, Steve wasn't an almighty, he can't make sure everything's perfect, not to mention he's not around anymore. Get over it.

Sorry, I should have said 'copied', rather than 'stole'. I just fear the film will make out that he had an epiphany and invented the mouse or the smartphone or something....
He didn't copy it either.

You're kidding right? You can't possibly think that the movie is a mirror image of Steve's life. Can u?

No, but Steve did go to India, that's not made up.

Can someone please make a gif of the couple of seconds of the "typefaces" section, with subtitles? :)
