The only iPhone I'll upgrade to next is the one with Touch ID. Face ID is much harder to use and not user friendly. No Touch ID not upgrading. Everything else on the new iPhone nothing in terms of function. The last three iPhones are basically the same.
What happens when the Delta Variant gets worse this winter? In the United States RIGHT NOW over 70% of hospital ICU beds are taken up by COVID-19 patients. There are states where hospitals are at 95-100% capacity - literally. If you think health care restrictions are going down...you are thinking in the wrong direction. Google Texas, Florida, and Nevada. That's just three states.
There are also 192 other countries in the world outside the USA. Apple sells directly or indirectly in 174 of them. Just saying…
That’s only one country though. The majority of the rest of the world still has mask mandates since the pandemic is far from over. Face ID is such a pain for this. Even with a Watch, you still can’t do stuff like open your banking apps without typing the password.
You joke, but if they rounded out the green streak with that, you wouldn't catch me complaining...
Love the bronze iPhone. The black looks like it has a cover on it. I struggle to remember what colour my iPhone is because I've only seen it "naked" a few times since I bought it 4 years ago. Always has its hard case on.

Salivating to see if the green tint carries on for another generation. If not, it will make the 13 much more appealing, considering it does not appear the 13 will be much more innovative in features than the 12. That would totally suck for the 12 owners.

All of this plus USB-C, and only if they walk back that CASM BS. Otherwise I’ll be keeping current phone and sticking with iOS 14.

I would never put a case over my phone. Why would I want to destroy the aesthetics and add extra weight?

How about a throttling A15? The A15 is rumored to have more GPU cores, but the high performance overheats the chip faster and can result in quicker throttling.

They are saving the matte black for when they really need to scrape barrel. It's the only logic that could explain why we haven't seen it already. There's a matte black iPhone behind glass somewhere in Apple. It says "break only in the event of no innovation". Throughout the past ten years, we've seen millions pay well over retail for anything matte black. I can't deny its appeal.
And they could get Matt McConaughey to intro it. Or even Matt Damon.
