Think you will find most people who are into their music will tell you they are one of the best if not the best wireless headphones out there. It’s very expensive and not for most people but doesn’t mean there’s not a market for them

They are decent, but it’s a stretch saying they are the best wireless headphones out there. I think B&O would have something to say about that and considering wireless headphones can cost thousands, Apples are really competing within the mid tier. I’d never spend that on a pair though as £100 ones do the job for me.

APM are not audiophile headphones, no doubt about that. Their appeal is the computational wizardry and the seamless integration with Apple’s ecosystem. I have a pair and I use them for casual listening. For anything critical I use my M50x. But even so, I’d still have trouble being able to tell the difference between the two in a A-B comparison. They are closed back after all.

Just did an A-B to confirm. They are extremely similar for the types of music I listen to. The M50x do handle highs slightly better. But the APM have better separation And soundstage. This is in a quiet room with the ANC active.
