5: Craig making some cheesy and funny jokes

Oh how I miss the good old days of Mr. Jobs running these developer conferences, he could literally hold an iCrap and still make it more fun then the last decade of WWDCs.

Just my opinion, I don’t want to offend Timothy’s fan base.
WWDC in September?

Eagerly waiting to see the new 17 Pro Max. Hope the rumors about the orange color are true and that the Pro iPhone will finally get a bright color. Expecting to see some new watch faces too.

New AirPods Pro are exciting. Mine are dying slowly so I was thinking about getting them replaced but waiting for the new release.
I LOVE my AirPods pro and wear them all the time when I’m in public places to take the edge of the noise. (I have a condition called auditory processing disorder or APD.). I’m really hoping the new 3s have even better noise cancellation. Pease make it so.

Also, Live translation, if it works, will make foreign travels so much better But that’s a Big ask and I’m not optimistic that feature ever will be usable.

Meanwhile, iMessage and text message forwarding between Apple devices has been broken (randomly working) for me for like 3-4 months, after working just fine(tm) for years.

It would be Awe Dropping(tm) if it worked again...

Craig IS a really funny guy and was a way of making: ‘nothing to see hear’ sound really interesting. He’s a great spokesman for Apple.
A few years ago, when jokes about Craig's hair felt vaguely authentic, he was a funny and charming guy.

Now it's 100% excruciatingly self-aware carpet salesman shtick.

My AW Series 6 broke so I'm looking forward to Series 11. But I spent money on CD/vinyl so that have to wait a bit.

I'm sure many people will love all these new releases from Apple.

Me OTOH, not even bothering watching the presentation anymore. All my Apple gear works (well, software-wise mostly) and I don't need any small updates like the ones in this article.

But that's just me.

We called it AI, and it changed our lives. Now Siri knows what day of the week it is (usually) [applause and whooping…] Thank you, thank you! But it’s not just about me. There is no “I” In Apple Intelligence. This is about all of us… You, me, the awesome team here at Apple and the whole world. AI is more than just one person. That is why our next generation devices are built not for “A I” but for “A We”. They’re dropping to a store near you next week and I, I mean We, [snickers and a few whoops…] know you’re going to love them.

>Apple is redesigning the iPhone 17 Pro models too. There's a new pill-shaped camera bump that's much bigger than before,

Ah yes, a bigger camera bump, just what everyone has been craving.

Wow. I couldn’t care less about the 5 items. Will be waiting for the fold to upgrade my mini. Though maybe I’ll hold out till the second fold iteration if Apple doesn’t slow down my phone too much.

No, it's not.

You're just looking for excitement from new toys.

The important developments are not things you can see.

Because what every customer buying a $1500 phone wants is innovation that can’t be experienced! “Look, Ma, I got a new car! It’s just like my old car but this one is chartreuse and the battery has three additional cranking amps! And it only cost me $82K! I think I’ll put a black wrap on it to protect the paint.”

Man, i remember how excited id be when an apple event was coming up in the early 2000’s.. there was always something new that i just HAD to have! It was really fun to be an apple user when we were a niche group and jobs was heading apple.

Yeah, Apple has definitely made a good number of missteps in the last few years including starting a streaming service, Vision Pro, their car project, AI, etc. Tim’s leadership may be running out of steam. However, I still see a bright future for the company as long as Tim retires within the next five years.
Yeah, they need an idea man soon. I feel they are riding on the trajectory that Jobs laid out. Sure, Cook has grown apple “on the balance sheet” but i don’t feel on product innovation. Apple has great products, no doubt. But they don’t have that same forward thinking product development that they used to have, that would build consumer excitement, draw huge lines for product releases etc.
