Reminds me of the ripple effect that resulted from adding a dashboard widget in earlier versions of OSX.

I think they actually do computing like things, not scare fish to swim away from you, what a ridiculous wate of money, nice for little kids though. Are these Microsoft Surface tables?
Which you haven't even seen in person.Weak presentation of Force Touch.
Why would you want to scare those poor little Siamese Fighting fish.WOW, talk about a great way to sell the iPhone 6s....no fair I want to try it.![]()
and a 5400rpm HDD.Can't wait to hear people complain that the table has only 16GB of storage.
The ONLY action that these demo units can show is force touch against a fish background? So you'll need to walk over to the iPhone display table to actually try the feature in real world usage...seems a bit redundant. Is it cool, interesting, different, Apple? Of course. Love things like this...but if they're not functional units where you can see 3D Touch in action, other than seemingly pressing on a picture of a fish in water, wouldn't that confuse people than do more good? We know how silly people can be who walk into retail stores...hence the removal of Smart Signs, as 75% of people couldn't understand why the iPad in front of the iPhone didn't have a 'working home button'...lol.
ba-dum-tshhhI think they do it with silvered glass![]()
I'm jealous, these iPhone 6s do have some kind if wireless charging technology embedded since the iPhones are glued up on top of a pad.
Which Apple Store in NY has this? The article said flagship store but this doesn't look like the 5th ave store. I just took a second look at the video and it looks like the soho store. But that isn't the flagship store anymore since the 5th one have have been built.

So the only thing it does it wiggle the fish and ripple the water? I would have hoped that they would allow full access to the features of the phones, and show the rippling when 3D Touch is used in normal iOS operation.
You only think that because the media brought the possible negative tone of it to your attention. Unless the media had brainwashed you, you'd never have noticed.Still think "Force Touch" just sounds wrong
