Are you seriously confusing a successful app developer with fame? I'd never even heard of this game before this story. Nor would anyone I know...he'd be quite able to live a normal life.

His choice, his reasons, and no I'm not the one confused here.

how many times have you tried playing? if you tried playing many times and never got past 1 that's sad Lol, but if you only played once then it's understandable.

I tried a lot. It's too hard. That's probably why he's done with it. It's too hard for him too.

While I've gotten higher than 1, I do agree that it's too hard. The jump up when you flap is too severe and the rate of drop when you don't flap is too fast. It makes it counter intuitive to control this little bird. Yes, you could get used to it, as evidenced by my eventual score, but fighting against expectation of the response as well as the obstacle course makes the game too hard, and by extension boring. Either the controls need to be a little more intuitive, or the difficulty of the obstacle course should start more gradually to "teach" the player how to use it.

The game reminds me quite a bit of one piece of another game. In Jetpack Joyride, there's a bonus vehicle you can find called the "Profit Bird" which works almost just like this, except that it works better. I've successfully dodged around all kinds of things for quite a distance with the Profit Bird.

Yeah, he's making games and other things for no other purpose than to fill his time and give him peace.

If he wants his peace then I would not expect to hear from him ever again.

He's and fool.

'Flappy Bird' Creator Promises to Remove Game From App Store Tomorrow

Why's this news all over the Internet? Fans of the game, just make sure not to delete it from your device and you'll be fine. It's very likely that if you downloaded the game, you'll still be able to play it even when it gets pulled from the App Store. Oh my gosh, the tweets I've read from fans are just overly dramatic, it's funny.

People thought his decision behind removing it was that Nintendo was suing him for ripping off the "Mario Landscape". I think he should put up with it because really, people will forget about it in a few months, much like Fruit Ninja, Cut the Rope, and Temple Run. Do you guys remember when they first got released? They were very popular, players tweeting their high scores and whatnot. Nothing compared to Flappy Bird.

Personally, I think the game is very overrated. I mean, there are a lot of games with the same concept as Flappy Bird in the App Store and they are actually playable.

Overusing it? What does he mean?

Oh, boo hoo, I'm famous and my product is popular. Either it's a marketing ploy or he's a whiney wimp.

Lame...

Watch on monday morning you will see his next tweet.

Due to the overwhelming good response I have decided to keep the game going. Thank you for all the support!

Then he will laugh to himself about all he downloads he pulled in over the weekend.

I respect him for his decision. Its crazy how appz can blow up and get so much attention. I can only imagine if he were to sell the game instead of releasing it for free.
