I've only gotten to 8. Game is very addictive even for me. I'm only a casual gamer

If this was a gimmick, then I have been had. I downloaded the app and have played with it for less than 30 minutes. What exactly is the fascination -- poor graphics, the guarantee failure, what???

So I don't get why this is number 1, and I don't get why this guy is killing it? Either the threat from another developer or a gimmick to lure in suckers like me i guess.

Anywho, on to something else now. Game deleted.

Isn't the game basically just the old Helicopter flash game with a reskin?

Else perhaps he has severe anxiety issues / personal things going on, and he doesn't want to deal with anything like this.

Reminds me of the old Mario game, pipes and all. And the water levels but with a fixed vertical axis. No moving side to side.

As a developer, I completely understand him.
He probably just want to release fun small games and make a living out of it, not become super rich and attract medias.

This guy is choosing to live a simple life over $50k/day. It must be an evil scheme... no wait, he's being force to do so... no, wait...

It couldn't just be that not everybody prioritizes wealth and fame above all else. It couldn't be all the ******** trolls... No... It must be a conspiracy...

I don't understand how companies pay for advertising in a game like this.

The ads are on the screen for such a tiny amount of time, and you're so focused on what the bird is doing on the screen... WHO is clicking on the ads?

With a game that only requires tapping the the screen, someone might accidently tap one of those ads. Just put your iPhone in airplane mode if you want to play, it disables the ads anyways.

he's announcing it will be removed a day in advance. i refuse to believe that this isn't a marketing scheme to get as many people to download it before it gets taken down and before the interest in it dies

This, and now this guy is even more famous. i didn't know about his since today.

It worked on me! I had never heard of the game until yesterday, when I saw some kind of Mario add-on on cydia. I still wasn't particularly interested. When I saw this, I figured I'd better go ahead and download it in case I want to check it out later.

But it looks like he took the pipes from Super Mario Bros, the ground from Super Mario Bros 2, and the text from Grand Theft Auto III.

I agree. Nothing wrong with that anyway.

as long as you keep a copy in either your computer/iTunes/ios device, you can play it forever until you delete it.

iirc you should be able to redownload it, but only if you did before and it wasn't pulled from the store for other reasons.
