Flappy Bird to Return to the App Store

Still can't believe those who still think this person is pulling some kind of marketing trick.
1) he was already pulling in a lot (wasn't the estimate $50k a day?)
2) his tweets from years ago where he talks about leading a peaceful, simple life
3) his family being hounded by the press

Everyone thinks everyone else is just like them, and that is really sad.
 
It's a total insult to Todd Moore to call him a "fan". He's a far better and more successful programmer than Flappy Bird guy ever will be. Duck Run 4 life!
 
He said it is coming back, but not anytime soon. Some people might jump to conclusions thinking it is coming back now.

Uh, no. If it was a marketing ploy, it was pretty bad. He started all this mess AFTER the game went viral and the money skyrocketed. This mess has reduced the money and number of downloaders.
 
Ive said this before but his flappy bird game wont even be the close to the "best" when it returns (not that any of the flappy games are worth playing but thats a diff issue). The people making the clones have been improving the game constantly and unless he has a huge marketing media explosion I would be surprised if it gets back to #1.

Turns out he made a super easy game that anyone could copy and theres no rules on the app store saying you cant copy app ideas. He copied the game himself he just reskinned it and had a marketing hayday.
 
Like others have said, happy to see the "value" of these iPhones with flappy bird installed drop so that I can pick up a used 5s for a decent price
 
Did they change the mission statement of MR or something?

"To provide a place for Apple enthusists to read and discuss news, rumors and other topics about Apple and their products... and Flappy Bird"
