The new ones will more than likely blow the m series macbooks out of the water for speed. But you have to put up with Ai everywhere all at once.
For video editing, I doubt it.

The new Nvidia RTX spark systems. Coming out in Oct. Game changer for windows pcs. Much more powerful than x2 elite extreme processors.
Based on reports from various outlets. We will wait and see but they will be way more powerful than any current windows laptop available now. They will have 5070 level GPU performance plus way faster CPU / NPU performance as well.
I'd think that a 5080/5090 Laptop would be faster CUDA/Game performance than Spark.
Still hampered by slower CPUs and non unified layouts. Basically like apple using intel/amd vs m series
Because it's the same as m series vs the current systems now. The rtx spark systems are going to be the fastest windows PCs available
I think it matters if you are running AI. Otherwise I've not seen anything else that cares about framebuffer size more than SM(CUDA Core) count. Maybe I am not looking in the right places.
There's a number of X86 processors that currently outperform the M series processors today, why do you think this ARM based processor will do that?

Yes, I am thinking you would, Supposedly their systems are so good that emulation has no speed effect on the pc. I have decided just to get the Dell 14s with x7 Ultra processor and call it a day. Save a few grand on the system that I can use to put a new 4tb 5.0 SSD in.
