+1 don't know how to get the apps to show from infinifolders only showing the first 16.
I guess the reason Categories can handle folder icons is because each "folder" it makes is actually it's own app. It has really nothing to do with iOS4 folders or the springboard. Each category you make has its own folder, and thus it's own icon, which can be skinned. This was, I guess, problematic because there was a big lack of fluidity, but CategoriesSB fixes that for the most part. Really my only gripe about Categories+SB is that adding/moving apps is a pain in the ass. But luckily I don't download that many apps or rearrange them too often. It's kind of a catch 22 in the way it works until someone develops a better all-around solution, which may or may not even be possible.

Now that I have my Categories "folders" all setup, adding and removing the occasional app is no big deal. Heck, setting up the folders wasn't that hard since I made a list of which apps went into each folder. I spent more time searching for and making the icons for each "folder".
I would switch to FolderEnhancer if the developer would add custom icon support. Otherwise, I am perfectly content with Categories + CategoriesSB.

i got it to work by deleting infinifolders, then installing FolderEnhancer, then i rebooted my phone.
try just turning it off and turning it back on
Well if were to start adding apps into folders in the folder you will see apps slowly begin to show.
Unless I misread your post, you can put as many apps in a folder as you like. The first 16 will show on page 1. If there are more then 16, scroll horizontally to see the other apps.

Can you describe what you mean by "deleting" Infinifolders? Did you uninstall or delete via Ssh or ifile? Did you remove your excess icons to stock numbers before deleting?

I thought about that, but I didn't like the idea of having all those blanks within the folder.
Now is there a way to have the folder without the "apps" text, but the apps within still have their txt?

I have a single folder, created with categories, in the bottom corner. I made it transparent and without any text. I'm looking for that to be my end result with folderenhancer. FE runs a lot smoother, but if I can't do that, it's a useless app to me.

If you already have infinifolders and have a crazy amount of apps in them when switching to FE, get ready to reorganize. Yay for having to reorder hundreds of apps! Ugh, my OCD was killing me until everything was put right again.
If you're currently using InfiniFolders with more than 16 icons, let me know how it goes! I want this to work!
Yes, that helps for the last part putting them back in folders. It's getting everything out of infinifolders so that you can start. It's a pain.
BTW. I've given up on FolderEnhancer for now. No matter what I do to uninstall InfiniFolders, I lose all the icons that won't fit in a stock folder, EVEN if I take them all out of folders before uninstalling IF. VERY frustrating. But that's the beauty of jail breaking!
All I did was remove it and then the apps in folders over the 12 app limit were put on the springboard. I installed folderenhancer and put the apps back in the folders. Took maybe 5 minutes.
i uninstalled IF then all of my apps went out of the folder.
had to manually put them back. but FE is good so far. the speed is worth it.
Apparently that's my issue then. I'm uninstalling IF but the extra apps aren't going to the springboard. But strangely enough, when I install FE it fills ueach folder up to 16 icons from my IF setup. If I had an IF folder with more than 16, the extra icons are nowhere.
I wonder if I'm hitting a page limit.

Thanks for the tips guys. I installed FE and that automatically removed infinifolders.
I tried adding app in the folders that had more than 16 apps but that didn't help just showed the 16 + 1 added.
Tried scrolling didn't work, doesn't show page dots either. Also tried restarting phone with no luck.
Don't really want to start over, it's a pain in the ass to sort all my apps in folders again.
Not sure if this helps but you can scroll horizontally within folders. I have an Apple folder with 18 apps in it. 16 come up on the first folder page, then the other two show up on the second Apple folder page.

I had the same problem. What I did was put your finger on one of the apps in the folder till it starts to wiggle then drag it to the right. as soon as you do that another one of the apps that was missing will slide up to the first screen. Keep doing this until no more slide up.
This worked for me but is obviously some type of a bug.

Update: The sbsettings "trick" above got my icons to show. Fully on FE now and loving the integration with multiiconmover (one of my most-used apps over the last few months). Once the install bugs for Infinifolders users are cleaned up, this should be the ultimate folder tool.
Sounds like the only thing I personally would be gaining is the 1/2 of a second it takes for a folder to expand. And would have a tough time keeping IF.
