I tweeted @chpwn. He says there are no issues with IconSupport and FolderEnhancer. I'll assume this is a FolderEnhancer issue for now. I have tweeted @ashikase about it.

chpwn says that ashikase is using IconSupport wrong in FolderEnhancer and that is the cause of the problem. chpwn thinks ashikase will fix it in the next release of FolderEnhancer.

Anyway, I bought and installed Gridlock (a chpwn paid app). All of the folders I had created vanished and all of the apps were visible on the springboard. I am glad I had a list of what was where. MultiIconMover sure was handy for the reconstruction process.

FolderEnhancer v1.0.3 is on Cydia. It fixes the iTunes issue with changing folder layouts.
On my iPhone, it introduces a new but minor bug. If I delete all apps from a folder, the empty folder does not always get deleted. The workaround is to edit the folder name so it is blank. Then the empty folder is deleted. Anyone else see this?

Just updated to newest version of FE. Whenever I try to move icons around, it'll "move" them but to someplace where I can't see them. A second blank page pops up in the folder but with nothing in it. The apps are still on the phone but the icon gets "deleted" for some reason. Anyone else having this issue?
Yes. There was an update for Infiniboard which I installed. I remember seeing other posts where some of the "Infini" apps had issues with FE but installed anyways. I'm guessing the most recent update to Infiniboard must've done something that's not reverting even after uninstalling Infiniboard.
It was just a thought. Too bad it wasn't that simple.
I have been doing a lot of playing around and can't get the problem to happen. I do have MultiIconMover installed.
What other packages do you have installed that have something to do with "enhancing" the springboard experience?

I really didn't notice this issue until after updating Infiniboard. Previous to this, I did install MultiIconMover. The other springboard apps I have are:

Gridlock
Iconoclasm
Infinidock
Shrink
SwitcherPlus (not sure if this counts as a springboard app)
MultiFlow (it's turned off though)
Any of these strike you as a potential cause for my issue?
EDIT: Fortunately, this issue only occurs with four game apps which were recently installed. Whenever I do a hard reset, all of them reappear on page 2 on my springboard. Whenever I try to move them into a folder, they disappear. What did strike me as odd is that everytime I move them to a folder, the icon "moves" toward the dock as if there were already a bunch of apps in that folder. This is what made me think Infiniboard was the culprit since it does that whenever you move alot of apps into a single folder.

You don't need FolderCloser with FolderEnhancer installed.
It could be remnants of Infiniboard. I am not sure what to tell you since I can't duplicate the problem.

It's amazing how many packages one can install over time that you don't think much about later.
That's why I keep a list of what I have installed and why I need it. I go through the list every once in a while just to refresh my memory. That's when I delete packages that I don't need/use or that have their functionality implemented by another package.

Head's up on SBOrganizer
I just discovered yesterday that if you use SBOrganizer to move apps into a folder, the icons do not show up. Of course, you can get to the apps through search. If you manually move apps into the folder, the icons are visible and pages are created as needed.

Tweeted ashikase about this. He said that he will not be adding this feature to FolderEnhancer.
To be honest, now that I am not using custom folder icons, I don't really miss them. I am using transparent (slightly opaque) folders with a border now and like them.

Damn. I was hoping that would be a future update. I love Categories for that feature.
Sigh.
I hear you. But I am coming to grips with it. Being able to use MultiIconMover and manage folders in the conventional way is just to nice to give up.

Is there any possibility of chpwn updating the speed of Infinifolders? I'm hesitant to have to buy another program that does the exact same thing.

But FolderEnhancer is more than a Infinifolders clone.....I bought Infinifolders and now use FolderEnhancer.

Tweeted ashikase about this again. He tweeted back saying he is too busy to talk about an extension he wrote several months ago that he has not released yet.
