That is particularly difficult to watch with such a rare and expensive device.

and always enjoy him rubbing extra dirt on them foldables lmao
My favorite is "paying taxes to pedophiles".Best quote " I've seen Graham crackers thicker than this phone"
For a scale to be considered accurate it needs constant calibration against a standardFlossyCarter put the TriFold on a scale and it registered 319 grams naked and not the 309 that's commonly reported. Not a dealbreaker for me, just interesting. His scale is accurate since he also put the Fold 7 on it and it registered 216g, within a gram of marketed weight.
Add in a kickstand case and we're probably looking between 340-350g total. That's roughly 10% more than my heaviest Fold with all accessories.

But his scale is within a gram of the expected Fold 7 weight...so fairly accurate. For a scale to be considered accurate it needs constant calibration against a standard
So there is always a margin of error somewhere
Been very positive thus far. I tested the battery quite well yesterday with plenty of sport.@The Game 161, any additional first-hand thoughts on the TriFold during your first week? How are you liking it? How has the battery life been? Does it get you through a full day? How is inner screen brightness outdoors? Are you getting used to the weight? How is performance? Any surprises or issues? Thanks for sharing.
They are all joining in time for the iPhone year release haha
Rarz has now entered the book-style foldable market… stylus support has me intrigued.
Yep and it now looks like Samsung is releasing a second fold that's going to look more like the iPhone oneThey are all joining in time for the iPhone year release haha
Yes I saw that as wellYep and it now looks like Samsung is releasing a second fold that's going to look more like the iPhone one
I don't know if I really want that though. The thought of having a short and fat outer screen just doesn't seem appealing.Yes I saw that as well
It's definitely something to think about as it's a different experience. When I had the original Google Pixel Fold it was a pleasure to use though I would've enjoyed it slightly taller. Battery was the reason I got rid of it.I don't know if I really want that though. The thought of having a short and fat outer screen just doesn't seem appealing.
For sure. I'll go in with an open mind. I'm pretty much still all in on Samsung and Folds, so I'll definitely have a choice to make. It's definitely something to think about as it's a different experience. Another thing that might sway the decision is apps being compatible so we shall see as overall still a letdown with the state of them to foldablesFor sure. I'll go in with an open mind. I'm pretty much still all in on Samsung and Folds, so I'll definitely have a choice to make.
So true. I think as of right now unless something really sways me, I'm probably going to stay with the form factor I'm on. I've actually accustomed to the cover screen now and anytime I pick up someone else's phone that's larger, I hate it.Another thing that might sway the decision is apps being compatible so we shall see as overall still a letdown with the state of them to foldables
Do you often rotate your phone in landscape orientation (on inner display)? For viewing content? Or maybe SplitScreen apps? Because that’s really the point in this new version coming out…I don't know if I really want that though. The thought of having a short and fat outer screen just doesn't seem appealing.
I probably never rotate it, as the aspect ratio on videos doesn't really bother me. I do from time to time used two apps side by side though. If Samsung does offer two different Fold models…. I’m definitely going for the one that unfolds in landscape orientation, but I’d wager Samsung release this wide Fold two months after the standard Fold. And only in Asian markets… seems on brand for Samsung these days.
Interesting. If I'm watching a full screen video it's definitely going in landscape orientation... having those black bars on top and bottom would annoy me. If I do decide to watch a video in portrait... I'll Splitscreen another app at the bottom in an effort of removing the black bars.I probably never rotate it, as the aspect ratio on videos doesn't really bother me. I'm mostly in portrait orientation as well... but when it comes down to viewing content, landscape provides a more immersive experience. But this coming from a Fold 6 user.... so maybe it's different for me.I think I rotate much less nowadays but it's nice sometimes when you get the right app with the viewing being spot on
