Man this thing is incredible, and I don't care much for the theme store since I rather make my own themes. Even with the added thickness the formfactor is perfect.

Had a discussion in another thread about how I always thought my Z Folds showed less on web pages than slab phones when using the inner display due to the squarish and many sites scaling everything based on width. I was wondering if I had configured it all wrong or something.

Is it possible for someone with a Z Fold (or Pixel 9/10 Pro Fold) to post a screenshot from something like the Macrumors front page? Would help me a lot to see how much is actually shown when using the inner display.

This is on the Z Fold 6... screen size is smaller compared to the Fold 7.

Thanks! Is that with Samsung browser? Is it different in Chrome?
Yup! It's the Samsung browser... compared to Chrome, extension support and I like the UI better.

And did you do anything to make it show more vertically?
Not quite sure... web page text size is 100%, maybe due to developer minimum width and font size & style within setting.

Ahh okay, yeah it might. I just remember comparing to my iPhone Pro Max phones and it actually showing less vertical information on many webpages so trying to understand what is different.

These are from a Z Fold 5 and Pixel 10 Pro, both with brave browser.

Thanks!

The top picture is more what I’m used to with the folds I’ve had, where you don’t really show more vertical information than slab phones. And quite different from what @Ludatyk showed, is the newer Z folds having a wider screen or something else like the browser that differs?

Well, one thing stands out from what @scott craft showed... mobile site is displayed. Here is a look of it on the Edge Browser...occasionally I use.

@Ludatyk, what's your Zoom set at in the Samsung Browser? My default of 85% Text size and 100% Zoom makes it look more like what you'd see on a slab phone, regardless of mobile or desktop mode. However, if I Zoom out to 67% then I can see the whole MacRumors page, including sidebar, like your first screenshot.

Well for reference it came 68% out the box and I got 4 hours screen on time while setting it up and using it normally etc

Will have to see how it goes generally though
That isn't too shabby and equates to roughly 6 hours for firts day and initial setup. I think that's consistent with my past Folds, if not better, for day 1.

It's at 75%.

It's your 75% zoom setting that's displaying the full width MacRumors homepage.

My Text size is 85% and Zoom is usually at 100% to avoid blank space on the sides with other websites. Playing around with the Zoom setting, 75% seems to be the minimum to display the full width MacRumors homepage on Samsung browser.

Maybe Samsung thinks anti-reflective properties will make the two TriFold creases less noticeable (though past foldable creases never bothered me).
