It's alright – they say the patch will be available tomorrow.

Honest.

Any wagers on at which point tomorrow they'll say it'll be available on Wednesday?

EDIT: I was just having a poke around on the SI Forums and found this, posted an hour-and-a-halfish ago...

...the Mac patch is due tomorrow (I think) - the Mac version is very stable though 🙂

Whose idea was it to have advertising hoardings that you can click on during the match that opens up your browser and takes you to the advertiser's website.

I wasn't aware of that, but I've just given it a go and sure enough you're right. Bloody cheek of it.

EDIT: An announcement on the SI Forums – the patch still isn't ready, they hope to have it sorted tomorrow...

Does anybody know if I will be able to run this game on my eMac, it's not got Intel (obviously) but I do have the Leopard software.

Have you tried the demo? Thats probably the best way to test it.
 
Is there any way to buy this game digitally, like 2008 for OS X?
Can't seem to find any reference of it in their site.
 
I bought the game last night

Its great, works perfectly, havent encountered any problems on my macbook.

I dont understand all this fuss about a patch?

What needs fixing?

have you already got to july 2009?
for me everything goes fine up to that date. then crash. nothing to do to go on.
i tried to start a new game and crashes at the same date. any idea?

Not that far into the season yet.... I shall keep you posted!
 
Patch is out according to SI Games forum.

Unfortunately, it looks like the patched version won't work with Tiger.
 
Biggest dissapointment ever.

Still no support for 3D match at High or medium. So it looks like ****. I haven't even bothered to start a game because of this.
 
Quite phenomenal that SI still haven't made any comment whatsoever on the sudden removal of compatibility of post-patch FM09 with Tiger. Despite the information on the box, the pre-patch version worked, the demo worked and the manual stated Tiger was supported.

I don't expect an instant fix, just something saying that they acknowledge there is an incompatibility and that they do (or do not) intend to resolve it.

I hate to imitate some of the petulant hyperbole seen on the SI forum as I really love the game and can't wait to play it, but from a PR point of view they are an utter, utter shambles.

If I read it correctly, I think on the box the system requirements states 10.5.5 and in the manual it states 10.4.11.

It really is a mess, wish they were more like Blizzard.
 
can someone please tell me how to right click on the team selection screen on my macbook? I am trying to move a centre midfielder more forward without moving his position but it's doing my nut in!!! I don't have a mouse.

I've also downloaded the patch onto transmission and i'm trying to save it on my desktop but it says i need a tracker address???? Which I have no clue about, anyone got any idea?
