The one show that I had zero interest at all, never intended on watching, but someone told me it was good so I decided to check it out was The Morning Show. By far one of the best dramas I've ever seen, it's that good, I couldn't stop. So yeah that's the one I recommend checking out before your free year ends.
I forgot aboy=t that one. It was excellent.

We don't get a lot of alternate history shows on TV, so this one is a bit unique on that alone. And, the historical aspects were actually really, really solid...everything that happened was plausible based on the world back then. How they connected to the larger world around the space race was also well done. The acting was largely pretty good, and a few people were really awesome. If anything, how Deke Slayton was handled, from the actor to his story, was spot on perfect (and no one should spoil this plot thread here). If you like sci-fi or space stuff, you really should watch the entire series before declaring it worthless.

Same happened with me. Zero interest whatsoever. After two episodes - hooked. The finale was insane. So many exciting twists and turns. I remember being completely blindsided by some of the story arc closures. It was a masterpiece. A real shame the critics slammed the show as that really hurt the perception of Apple TV from the get go. I believe it set them back a year at least in terms of picking up momentum and interest.

I couldn't get through the first couple of episodes of season 1. I heard it gets better later in the series, but it just couldn't hold my interest long enough.

So far I've found Apple TV+'s repertoire of content pretty underwhelming in general. The only reason I still have a subscription is because I got one free with a hardware purchase.
Correct, it gets moving around episode 3 or 4. I'm a HUGE space fan and it took me 3 tries to get past the second episode - I was traveling at the beginning of the year and had a bunch of flights, so binge watching on the plane got it going for me.

I'm thrilled about the shuttle being in Season 2, and hopefully Buran will make an appearance as well.

I loved season 1. Hope Apple gives me another free year with my next iDevice, otherwise I'll probably just sign up for a month during the holidays and binge all their new content.

Looking forward to season 2. Hopefully this trailer is a relitively narrow preview of what will be covered in season 2. Bring on the 80's!

I liked the first season but the big fast-forward was a bit annoying I thought. But looking forward to season 2! Hope it comes soon. I suppose it was shot before Corona hit so hoping for no delays there.

POTUS wants boots on the moon.

That's not what he said!

One of the actors I was glad to see again in this series was Chris Bauer, who played Deke Slayton. His performance as Frank Sobotka in The Wire was one of the best of a great cast.

Space Force was unwatchable. I barely got through ep 2 before finally throwing a hammer at my TV.

Its not so bad after the first few episodes. The plot really picks up after that. That being said, I also liked the first few (though not as much) so your mileage might vary.

This trailer looks like what I hoped season 1 would be more of. Hoping they focus more on the adventure and less on the identity politics this season.

I didn't see season one, but Space Force really set the bar on what I want from a series about space.

Wait there are people that liked Space Force?

I thought For All Mankind smoked Space Force on pure entertainment value. Granted, they’re completely different shows.

The man in the high castle and for all mankind are great shows for audiences that enjoy historical revision and what-ifs from historical events. I would love to see a show about what if the Roman empire never collapsed and a show on what if China never became communist and maintained their emperor dynasty. That would be pretty cool!

I thought Space Force was OK... It was comedic but a bit forced at times. And the story was weird (like, we never learn why his wife was in prison)

One military comedy I really liked was The Brink. But sadly it was cancelled after the first season (after first being renewed). Apparently some political concerns may have played a part in this. It's a shame because it was really funny and had a great cast.

A loving satire that’s also better than any recent attempts made my the satiree?

Totally agree, The Orville is better than any Trek since Enterprise including Picard :'(
