My 4s and 5 were 32gb... 16gb actually runs fast depends on how much music you want to put in and of course apps.
I can name 5 high-profile sites right now that are hosted in the US that allow movie and music downloads. Pirating music isn't hard and it's better than paying 99 cents for a song you want to listen to. Most singers are freaking loaded anyway. Even new ones after getting a little mainstream become rich.no you said most people you know download illegally in your first sentence... then proceed to talk about djs and rappers flossin so its ok.. not most people you know listen to rap and download illegally. I thought the part about rap was pertaining to the bit about djs seeing how it derived after that. not the direct object of another sentnce. Sorry for taking what you said...as what you said.
why dont they do something about it? have you been living under a bridge? The feds shut down countless torrent trackers and fileshare website similar to mediafire each year.
its just most arent host in the US...so they cant do much... still doesnt mean its not illegal.. ... go to google and search for it.
i dont see what your point is to all of this? in my very first post... i said "if you dont have unlimited data, or dont want to pay for an extra gb or 2 a month. then its probably right it isnt the solution [for you]"
Some people like a variety of music, so some might like a lot on their phone and BTW the 80's called.. they want "Not" back...
I work outside and I'll play a bunch of different songs all day long. I jump from The Misfits/King Diamond to Sara Evans/Toby Keith. I also buy all my music LEGALLY. My wife and I combined our music to our Mini and over 20,000 songs. I go to used CD places and get stuff cheap, I get them albums on sail from Amazon and iTunes.
So before you say "you can't listen to all that music at once" no crap, but people like to have a variety. Gamers can't play all those games at once either, readers can't read 100's of books at once either![]()
terrible analogy .. you're not going to put every book you own on my nightstand/take them with you just because you might read it....not going to install every game in case you want to play it for 5 minutes if you own too many, you arent going to bring every nintendo ds game with you everywhere if you own too many.
this conversation was never about variety.... so your point?
i never said there was anything wrong with wanting to have all your music with you.. some people dont have unlimited data/cant afford an extra 10-20 bucks a month (stated in my OP post) for the convenience of having over 8 million songs.. that take up no space/can be downloaded if you desire.
i clearly stated in my initial post "it might not be for you"
and as to the 80s remark? lol i was 1 years old then. i find it rather amusing that you would say that (says the man still buying cds)
as much as you apparently loves variety and listen to many of bands.. you should check out spotify for the price of a couple of used cds a month.. you can have access to all the shhitty punk and country your heart desires.
It's the way it was said. So i buy CD's once in a while, I buy whatever is the cheapest and I get my music from iTunes and Amazon (as I said before). I don't use Spotify or others like it because 1) I work in areas with no cell service at all 2) it will drain the battery and I don't want to leave my phone plugged in all the time (and in some cases I can't).
As for putting music down... I'm glad it makes you feel better. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music for your information. Again I did say "variety" I even have Frank Sinatra also. I take it you think that's ******* too? Because you listen to way better stuff...![]()
Always got 32GB. It's enought for me but I may get 64GB just for the hell of itIs 16 GB enough? Or is worth it to just spend the extra money for a 32/64 GB?
It boggles my mind why someone would have 100 GB of music stored anywhere. What is this, a Smithsonian music collection? Besides, music gets old really fast...

I know, people who have 60, 70, 80GB of music just have it show off. They like one song from an artist and buy ALL of their CD's and burn it. One song for a normal person=100 for them. It's BS
No but they like one song. Lets say, Aerosmith, they like Dream On, so instead of buying Dream On, they buy 8 CD's from Aerosmith and burn them all.really dude? So because someone listens to a lot of music they're showing off? Wow
Every CD I ever bought I just burn automatically, been doing this from day one. After years I might not listen to it, but I know I still have it for the day I am in the mood again. If my CD gets damaged, I know it's saved on my hard drive and that is backed up at least twice. It boggles my mind why someone would have 100 GB of music stored anywhere. Just because you're not a fan of music doesn't mean others aren't also. Some bands/artists I have every album and I enjoy them all. I work outside and drive a lot at times. I put my iPod Classic on random and just enjoy it, it's like my own personal radio.
