Actually to be completely honest I've been using my iPad a lot less since getting an iPhone. Sure there are certain things I would only do on an iPad but I'm surprised at how much I get accomplished on this little device.:)

I ordered a case for my iPad2 that has a handstrap. I look forward to installing the talkatone app and using my iPad as a phone, just to annoy people. ;)

I adjust fine. Granted, I have an HTC Radar rather than an iPhone, but the 0.2" in screen increase don't really matter. Anyway, my point is I can swap back and forth between the two (which i do when I'm using my iPad and receive a text on my phone) without any issues adjusting. Since I use them both regularly and everyday, I guess my brain just adjusts right away.

I agree, the iPhone's screen is small... I found it pathetic when Apple showed the iPhone 4S for the first time and talked about it's great gaming capabilities. Yeah, gaming on that tiny screen.

I also owned 2 iPad 2s (not at the same time) and I sold both. I've realized that tablets just aren't for me. I need a big phone, or a phone + a tablet that's actually worth carrying around the place. (and no tablets on the market constitute as "worth it" to me)

Galaxy S2, S3 and Note... So tempting. Best of both worlds (more so with the Galaxy Note, considering it's the biggest)

Actually, I often find myself thinking "Why isn't my iPad 2 screen as sharp as my iPhone 4S screen?" when switching between them.

That's why I can't wait for a retina iPad 3, even though most website images will still look like crap. Speaking of which, I wonder if iPad optimized websites can target for retina displays and swap in high-res graphics using CSS? I'll have to investigate that now...

i need both, i do have a man purse for my ipad because it carries all my engineering notes and books. you wont catch me reading books on my iphone or browsing the web anymore

my phone is just for texting and calling and facebook and a few games

everything else is on the ipad.

its not the screen size rather the purpose of each that matters to me.

Perhaps I'm crazy but I feel even the iPhone is a bit too big. I much prefer the size of the iPod Touch which has the same screen size in a smaller overall package. It's great to freely take the device off the pants pocket with ease and operate it with one hand. I wouldn't mind a slight boost in display size but personally I don't know if it's necessary to go so big on phones.
