Wednesday

Ordered over the phone this morning (they still had some stock, 32GB Black Wi-Fi), guy said all iPad orders were leaving the warehouse on Wednesday, but that seems to conflict a-lot with what you guys have heard so take it with a pinch of salt. I asked about next day delivery, and he said there wasn't any point :?

Saturday Morning i went into Cardiff City Centre and there is a small authourised dealer, sadly i don't know the name or address, but they had a few 16gb White in stock, nearly went for it but really wanted 64gb so didn't get it just for the sake of having one...

Well i think i have.. paid the £9.99 for next day delivery, and had the order acknowledgement twice now, and both times it says required day 29/03/2011

so fingers crossed its being upwrapped by myself tomorrow!!

My email is the same email i got at 9.22.. Just says what i ordered. Just a receipt.. no delivery note. and cant track my item for some reason...
 
At the end of the day it's my own fault for not getting one from Comet on Friday when I went to collect my new MacBook Pro and they were putting iPad 2's on the shelf with no queue in sight. At the time I didn't really fancy one, though having played with one in an Apple store yesterday I've changed my mind! :rolleyes:

I've ordered with Mac Warehouse now so I guess I'll just ride it out and receive it when I receive it :(

They're still promising shipping today though - You'd have thought if they knew they couldn't fulfil the orders they'd change the status...

Hmm thats abit weird :\ Just wished I had ordered with Tesco! :(
 
The MacWarehouse iPad page now states:

"Sorry, we are now out of stock of iPad 2. Click here to register for our next delivery."

They're also now listing Smart Covers, although they're pricey at £45.58 / £76.78 inc. VAT.

£10 more expensive? i bet people pay it....
You'd of thought that they would email or call those who have ordered and now won't be expecting a courier calling over the next few days :confused:
