My brother bought my 16e to replace his battered 13, he loves it. I’ll be pre ordering the Air at 1pm 👍🏻
I love the Air but for me, I really need the wide/macro lens. Everything else about the phone is great. I don’t even see a problem with battery life. Everyone has different needs and nobody should be putting someone else down for their choice.
What would be your other choice? I’m starting to have a few second guesses in the last hour lol
Pro Max. That’s what I’m moving from. I have a pre-schooler and starting to worry about not having the telephoto lens

If you feel you’ll miss it too much then you’ll have to get the Pro Max with its even better zoom capabilities.
I love the idea of a smaller Air but I think future iterations will always have the "plateau" cause that's where they have to put much of the internals.
Same here, sorta. But that's me, when buying a new car, it's the shiny new red coupes that get my attention and that I ultimately go home with. Not the more reliable proven vehicles.

I looked at a couple more videos from the event last night and the dual tone on the orange was hideous as a customer held them up to the light. The case debate besides, I don't think I can get over having a 1/2 lb. creamsicle in my pocket.
Since I have to make a decision, going to stick with the air, give it a week, and then if I miss the camera too much I’ll swap out.
That's a good point. If this phone really is about the future, their word as well, then the phones are going to resemble one of those pocket calculators with all the hump at the top containing the solar tech.
I currently have the 16 Pro and if it's on par with that like they say, then I'll be okay. It's not anything like the Max's battery, but rarely do I drop below 50% since I'm WFH and hooked up to a charger much of the time.
Same here! just 8 minutes left and I’m still undecided on the Air—Sky Blue or Light Gold. I’m ordering an Orange Pro Max (to decide at home) too, since that’s the only color I want for the Pro. I’ll just decide at home.
i'm deciding to go with the silver 17 pro max instead of the air.
just a bit concerned with the battery life, the mono speaker, and lack of macro lens. its a pretty big trade off just for a lighter phone tbh. i would have use it naked with a clear skin wrap over it. oh well

I don't mind scratches! It reminds me that these are tools and not fashion accessories. The best bit about a new iPhone is the first scratch or ding that lets you take off the kid gloves. I'd still buy a nice looking spanner but I'm not going to stick it in a frame!
Just wait until the actual release to check how it handles real life, especially networking bits (C1X and N1).
