@James6s, what happened to your 16e? did you get rid of it in favor of the new Air?
My brother bought my 16e to replace his battered 13, he loves it. I’ll be pre ordering the Air at 1pm 👍🏻

What would be your other choice? I’m starting to have a few second guesses in the last hour lol42 minutes out and I’m still second guessing my Air choice. Guess it will be a game time decision.
Air or 17 Pro⁉️What would be your other choice? I’m starting to have a few second guesses in the last hour lol
Pro Max. That’s what I’m moving from. I have a pre-schooler and starting to worry about not having the telephoto lensWhat would be your other choice? I’m starting to have a few second guesses in the last hour lol

I love the idea of a smaller Air but I think future iterations will always have the "plateau" cause that's where they have to put much of the internals.Once they’ll release Air Mini with 5.4-5.8” screen and without a camera bump in matte black i’ll consider buying one.
Same here, sorta. But that's me, when buying a new car, it's the shiny new red coupes that get my attention and that I ultimately go home with. Not the more reliable proven vehicles.42 minutes out and I’m still second guessing my Air choice. Guess it will be a game time decision.
Those Grecazo cases are nice! I have one for my 16 Pro and ordered one in carbon fiber look for the 17 Air.I just ordered this case, as minimal as it can get:

I looked at a couple more videos from the event last night and the dual tone on the orange was hideous as a customer held them up to the light. The case debate besides, I don't think I can get over having a 1/2 lb. creamsicle in my pocket.Decisions decisions! Time is ticking…
If you feel you’ll miss it too much then you’ll have to get the Pro Max with its even better zoom capabilities.

Since I have to make a decision, going to stick with the air, give it a week, and then if I miss the camera too much I’ll swap out.Decisions decisions! Time is ticking…

That's a good point. If this phone really is about the future, their word as well, then the phones are going to resemble one of those pocket calculators with all the hump at the top containing the solar tech.I love the idea of a smaller Air but I think future iterations will always have the "plateau" cause that's where they have to put much of the internals.
I currently have the 16 Pro and if it's on par with that like they say, then I'll be okay. It's not anything like the Max's battery, but rarely do I drop below 50% since I'm WFH and hooked up to a charger much of the time.Air looks less appealing as it goes. Battery is biggest concern. Will always need plugged in.
Same here! just 8 minutes left and I’m still undecided on the Air—Sky Blue or Light Gold. I’m ordering an Orange Pro Max (to decide at home) too, since that’s the only color I want for the Pro. I’ll just decide at home.42 minutes out and I’m still second guessing my Air choice. Guess it will be a game time decision.
The battery life is the same as iPhone 16 Pro?Air looks less appealing as it goes. Battery is biggest concern. Will always need plugged in.
I don't mind scratches! It reminds me that these are tools and not fashion accessories. The best bit about a new iPhone is the first scratch or ding that lets you take off the kid gloves. I'd still buy a nice looking spanner but I'm not going to stick it in a frame!I agree but I still want to choose the finish on which the inevitable odd scratches are least visible.

Screen, not the polished titanium edges. It is supposed to be 3 x more scratch resistant, no?
