what upgraded features are you looking forward to the most on the iPhone 5...i feel like this is a significant upgrade for us iphone 4 owners.

my iphone has become unresponsive and the homebutton barely works..

im excited to have a brand new phone with crisp new home button..and im excited to see how fast it is compared to the 4.
im also excited to finally have siri...and the new maps will be great

so much to look forward to

Speed, speed and speed. In that order.:p

yeah..that is probably my number 1 thing also..
after seeing the benchmark score and the score from the 4s...i cant even imagine what the 4 score is..(might have to run it and find out real quick)

so..you guys with unresponsive home buttons..are you jb?

i wasnt sure if my button issues had anything to do with the fact that mine is at the moment...but im starting to hear from many iphone 4 owners with crappy buttons

SPEED and lesser keyboard lag

Currently my iPhone exhibits a lot of keyboard lag, especially when typing on web forms like this one. I am hoping the iPhone 5 will stop that, and believe it or not, my number one reason for ordering this new phone.

so..you guys with unresponsive home buttons..are you jailbroken?

i wasnt sure if my button issues had anything to do with the fact that mine is currently jailbroken...but im starting to hear from many iphone 4 owners with crappy buttons

I had my i4 JB from day 1 that the JB came out and never had a home button issue.

I'm still very happy with my iPhone 4. It's not an automatic "need to upgrade" the way it was when I went from 3G to 4. Because I'm Canadian and our upgrade policies are terrible, I'll be buying my next phone outright. I'm still deciding between sticking with my 4 for another year (when my contract ends, and then switching carriers), upgrading to the 5 (mostly for LTE and the improved camera), or switching to the Galaxy S3.

i bought a white iPhone 4 on it's late launch and can't wait for a faster phone with a better camera and siri!

don't really care about a longer screen

About 370 or so. The difference is going to be staggering.

To the point of the thread: Camera, speed, Siri, the screen - actually I just think the new design looks amazing. Unlike the upgrade from the 3G to the 4 I don't feel like I need this upgrade, but I'm sure as hell going to enjoy it.

I'm actually most excited about the improved camera. After that -- the faster processor. Siri and larger screen come in at a bit more distant 3rd and 4th.

Nope, not jailbroken and getting annoyed with mine too. But might not that be something the Apple Store would fix? I'd make an appointment but I'm waiting to see if 10.8.2 fixes the freezing on my MBA first.

mine has been jailbroken for a long time as well..but i just noticed the button issues lately. figured its a possibility..guess not

so i guess the consensus is that the iphone 4 button has ~2yr lifetime..lol

for those of us who bought the black on launch day..its been quite a while for one phone.

after reading earlier that the iphone4 was launched 27 months ago..im pretty amazed at the fact that i still have the same phone....and that it still looks like its brand new (besides home button issues)

Not two years for me - actually 14 months since I broke down and got the 4 just before unlimited data ended on Verizon. And yes, I'm hoping Apple will be generous despite being technically out of warranty. I had no complaints until after the year mark. :(

Mine has not been so lucky, it has a very minor scratch on the front glass, and quite a few on the back glass. It looks well used, which is odd for me, I'm usually very particular about my stuff.
