1) New home button
1a) LTE / Switch to Verizon
1b) Siri
...
2) Camera
3) Maps

I don't really find the iPhone 4 slow at all for anything. Most of the stutters and problems seem to be network related. Be interesting to see if I can notice a speed difference--will notice it in launching iBooks probably.

also looking forward to a speedy camera app..by the time i get the iphone4 cam loaded, whatever i wanted a picture of has passed..

looking forward to some new headphones too..(they cant be any worse than the old ones)

so many reasons to be excited

In order:

-the hardware (screen size, my first white iphone, etc)
-siri
-the camera (i'm a photographer, and the panorama mode is calling my name)
-LTE (3G has been painful)
-the case i bought for it (grove, it's gonna look awesome with the white)

My iPhone 4's home button was getting less responsive as well...

Looking forward for LTE, Speedy A6, Better Camera (iPhone 4 camera sucks...auto focus is a pain and low light terrible) and Siri.

In order:

Bigger screen
LTE/No antenna issue
Screaming fast A6
Better camera
Thinner, sleek look
Better battery
More RAM
Siri
Black
New easy dock connector
Ios6
Panorama

4G LTE, bigger screen, speed, more durable back, lighter weight, much better camera, no more antenna issue, new battery (old battery holds less charge), etc.

Black anodized aluminum. Black anodized aluminum. Black anodized aluminum.

Oh, and that other stuff is pretty decent, too.

LTE, speed (speeding around camera and text messages), verizon (i'm in NYC), screen!, siri, updated camera!

also, my home button was acting funky too. did a restore and deleted pics seemed to snap my phone back into shape. I had some considerable lag and a ridiculous amount of pictures that seemed to slow down my phone for whatever reason as well. I deleted a bunch (over 1k) seems to be better all around, especially around opening up camera app. might help for others!

as for ios6, i'm looking forward to icloud tabs :D

holy CRAP i cant wait for this thing..the video reviews are great..its so fast!
cant wait for lte and a6~~~~~~!@#~@`1`

I'll be looking forward to: LTE, A6, Siri, Bigger screen, more storage (going with 64gb this time around) and a much better camera with the paranormal feature! :D
Can't wait until friday! (or fingers crossed for early delivery weds or thurs)

OP, I'm with you about the home button. My 4's button works fine but that's cause it's a refurb replacement that I've had for 1 1/2 years (my original one had that problem and it started pretty soon after I got it. But it got really bad towards the end of teh year warranty that I no longer could ignore it and figured I better get it replaced before my warranty was up cause if the button died, that was it. On the second phone my roommate discovered the accessibility options that gave you a virtual button on your screen so I've been using that to baby the second phone's button so I don't know if the home button thing was a defect that happened a lot that my refurb didn't have, or if I just was better about not wearing out the 2nd phone's button).

Anyways, I'm honestly looking most forward to speed and more RAM. Something I've been really noticing since at least last Christmas that my phone was in need of. It's gotten really bad of late (I mean seriously pausing to think sometimes and needing a decent amount of restarts.. to the point I wonder if something is not wrong with it to tell the truth).

I want a smooth operating phone again.

SPEED and lesser keyboard lag

Currently my iPhone exhibits a lot of keyboard lag, especially when typing on web forms like this one. I am hoping the iPhone 5 will stop that, and believe it or not, my number one reason for ordering this new phone.

Mine too!!!! I'm kinda glad you said that cause I was starting to think maybe it was just that my phone was going bad or something (though with mine it's not just keyboard lag, sometimes it pauses to think and refuses to respond to any input, but that happens with the keyboard as well).

I'm so sick of frikking lag which I honestly suspect has to do with not enough RAM (I mean it's something I noticed since iOS 4. Apple thinking we didn't have to manage the multitasker was BS, my phone ran smoother if I paid attention and made sure not many apps were running. Of course since it wouldn't tell me what was running and what was just listed as recently used that meant that I tried to keep only 4-5 icons on the multitask bar). I was so glad to hear they did increase the RAM cause it really needs it.

I'm just happy I won't have a big burned out brown portion in the upper left side of the screen. It just keeps getting larger and larger. Beyond that the bump in performance, better battery life now that it is over two years old, and LTE.

i cant wait to open the settings app and turn on bluetooth without it taking 15 seconds..
i look forward to pulling out my phone and getting the camera app open BEFORE the action is over..
i look forward to searching for something on the web at a red light..and getting the result before its green..
so many things will be different...LIFE WILL BE BETTER

what upgraded features are you looking forward to the most on the iPhone 5...i feel like this is a significant upgrade for us iphone 4 owners.

my iphone has become unresponsive and the homebutton barely works..

im excited to have a brand new phone with crisp new home button..and im excited to see how fast it is compared to the 4.
im also excited to finally have siri...and the new maps will be great

so much to look forward to
I have the 4 now and am looking forward to Siri and Speed :)

My iPhone 4 home button does have problems but it still works.

I have the CDMA version so it doesn't have antenna problems.

Plus if I upgrade I will have to give up on unlimited data.

iPhone 5 is a substantial upgrade though...might upgrade when it turns Oct.

so i guess the consensus is that the iphone 4 button has ~2yr lifetime..lol

for those of us who bought the black on launch day..its been quite a while for one phone.

Bought my iPhone 4 on launch day 2 years ago and besides the occasional home button issue, it's been the best phone I've ever owned.

Looking forward to LTE & faster everything: opening apps, app-switching, & of course Siri!
