I had the 6s first then went for the Plus for the better battery life and larger screen. Had it for 2 months now and im used to the size but I think I'm going to go back down to the 6s. I have chargers at home, work and car so im not worried about battery life. With the Plus ive almost dropped it a few times trying to do one handed operations on my commute. I realize now the size of the 6s is much better for my lifestyle.
Commute as in while driving ? In that case the 6s+ is a good deterrent and something which will keep reminding us that we shouldn't use a phone call while driving..

If it's while in a bus or a metro then fine.. End of the day each one of us can only decide which form factor from the plenty of smartphone options available in the market today makes us happy.. Seriously there is something for everyone out there

200 posts?? Looks like a few people did want to talk about it this year, after all...

You're right, and this brings to light another first-world problem. If you have a smart watch, it's so much more easy and tempting to look at your wrist, when a notification comes in, but you still have to read, which takes your attention.

I used to be completely against the Plus. In fact I've gone from the 6 to 6 Plus to 6 to 6S and I said screw it and got the 6S Plus. I was able to completely get used to it. Something finally clicked and now the 6S looks so tiny in comparison. I love the 6S Plus. One handed not too difficult but it's definitely more of a two handed phone.

I have to take a bus and train to work daily so I need some one handed operation. Hard to hold the handle and the 6s Plus. Not impossible because I've been doing it for the past couple months I just think it would be easier with the regular 6s.

i have had both models in the plus size, the 6s is a little heavier so it took awhile to get used too. I can use the phone one handed just fine and holding the regular sized is just so weird for me now.

Interesting hearing about people not getting on with it commuting wise. Can't say I've had many issues with the Plus on my commute.

The Plus really doesn't feel that big after a couple of months. Funny how you adjust after a while.

I have the regular sized 6s and have had to switch to 2-handed use. Reaching the top of the screen (tap status bar to scroll to top) and opposite top corner is no longer possible (where the + and edit buttons are often placed) even though I wear L sized gloves. It's somewhat tolerable with reachability if I remember to use it. I miss the days when manufacturers prioritized one handed use (it was a hallmark of blackberry, treo, and winMob 6)

I somehow have gotten used to the reachability feature to such an extent that I Keep tapping the home button twice even in my iPad to access the feature. .. It's a great feature and something which helped me make a decision to buy the 6s+. To be frank you need this feature with any phone with a screen estate more then 4" to be used one handed. I thought if I need this feature anyways why not go with the plus rather then stick with the normal 6 and regret later

You'll have to buy a 6c when it appears.

According the the NIH BMI calculator, you would need to drop 10 pounds to be "normal". ;)
Nah he sounds perfect.

About the size though, I had this conversation with a colleague. Neither one of us tries to type one handed. We use two hands. So it's natural for us to just use two hands for everything.

I wouldn't give up my Plus.

I went from a 5s to a 6s+. I've dropped the S+ about four or five times in about a month of ownership. If I say I dropped the 5s more than five times in my two years of ownership I would be exaggerating. Thankfully I got a good case and screen protector for my S+ so nothing has happened to it but it's a slippery mofo and it is very hard to use with one hand. Right now I'm typing on it and I'm holding with me left and typing with my right. If I try to only use my right hand to hold and type it's impossible to reach the left side of the screen. Now, with that being said, I've used my mother's 5s after a month of using my S+ and I can't wrap my head around how I was able to use such a tiny phone. The 5s looks almost cartoonish now. It reminds me of that SNL skit where Will Farrell is using the miniature flip phone. So yeah, I'll be sticking with my 6s+ but I'll have to learn to be more careful with it.

my first plus sized phone and I can't believe I was content with smaller before. took me a while to get used to the larger screen/one handed operations but it really isn't that bad. With iOS's reachability feature its flawless. I love my 6+

Reachability feature is by far the most useful feature I found on the iPhone. In today's big smart phones, this feature is a must have I feel. It leads to smooth operation of the phone for one handed use

It's a nice feature. When using my iPad or my wife's iPad mini, I frequently double tap the home button out of habit, only to be disappointed it's not on those devices as well.

me with these huge overpowered neanderthal like hands, find it comepletely fine. if anything id be looking for an iPad Pro size iPhone in the near future.

depends on your hand size:D

Kind of getting tired of it TBH, the only reason I have it is for the battery life and 1080P screen otherwise I would have gotten the smaller model.

Me too it happens everytime I use my iPad more so because I live with my 6s plus for most of the day and the habit is in my conscience now
