In my opinion, this is not true, it may be extremely difficult to differentiate, but a ppi of 441 makes a huge different.

This statement is a bit of an oxymoron. It is either easy to differentiate and therefore makes a huge difference or hard to differentiate and makes little difference. Also the breakthrough in the Chinese market isn't font readability but cheap as dirt phones.

I have to say the iPhone 5 is my favorite phone out of any I've owned (mostly for the LTE!). I always think to myself, gosh I wish my phone had a 1920x1080 display on a 5 inch screen. And then I realize: The screen on the 5 in every case, watching movies, tv shows, viewing web pages, etc looks like better HD than my 60 Samsung tv! So it really doesn't matter to me, specs are just specs. It's how beautiful it looks and works that gets me.

First off, I am not an Android user, I don't have any android device.

Reading through the thread about the new Samsung GS4, I realized that many people thought that the current iPhone retina display of 332ppi is sufficient and argued that any further increase in it is unnecessary as the eyes can't differentiate it anyway.

In my opinion, this is not true, it may be extremely difficult to differentiate, but a ppi of 441 makes a huge different.

This is even more significant for East Asian languages users such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Due to the way characters strokes are cramped in the space, a higher ppi can display it crispier and render it more beautifully.

If Apple wants to have a stronghold in the Chinese market, it better increase the ppi. A higher ppi phone makes reading East Asian languages a lot more comfortable and satisfying.

Its 326 ppi and no, the consensus from most recent reviews is that 441 ppi doesn't make a huge difference.

I could never see the pixels on my retina iPhone, but since getting a retina iPad, and so spending a lot more time looking at retina screens, I am occasionally noticing pixels in certain situations.

But it is edge case stuff. I'm not that worried about it. Although looking at my computer screen is jarring. I look forward to decent sized (24-30") retina computer screens.

Looks like you didn't even bother reading anything about the Galaxy S4 before spreading your false information. The Galaxy S4 display is not PenTile. . . . . .

In short, everything you say is false.

Where are you, SomeDude?

That's pretty much it: it's mostly hard to differentiate for most and thus makes little difference to most. To some, it's easier to differentiate, so it's more of a difference. So, there's a difference no matter what, just for most it's a minor one at most, while for some it's somewhat bigger. That's really all it comes down to.
