It's not all bad...it makes me feel that my posts are so informative, eloquent, and incisive, that many, many people are quoting them.

I am posting in tapatalk right now.

What version are you using?

Posting in my other version of tapatalk which seems identical.

Mobile version keeps logging me out, then randomly logging me back in. Just me?

Edit: seems to happen when I hit the main "Forums" button but then clicking on a subforum will log me in.

Tapatalk is fine on my iPad, but has stopped working today on my iPhone.

There also seems to be an intermittent issue on IOS devices where avatars, especially animated gifs are not displaying...Happens mostly on our iPad and my phone seems unaffected.

We talking in mobile safari or tapatalk?

Few more notes : screenshot attached of safari. Chrome on same ioS7 ipad4 shows them fine.

When shutting safari down and reloading it, seems to cure for short time. Perhaps a cache header or ani-gif zip setting in apache.

Just noticed that the search function is semi-broken as well...The text is grey and does not disappear when typing in a search, meaning manual deletion prior to typing in your search parameters...It works, but only if you delete all the greyed out text first.

Further to my post on the animated gifs not displaying - I can hold and save image for avatars that are displayed, but doing so on the grey box ones that are not showing does not save any image.

Cant tell if its a safari not rendering, but i suspect it could be. Perhaps due to the server doing some php/gif work that mobile safari intermittantly dislikes.

That's because the Javascript file that's supposed to do that for you is giving a 404 Not Found error. Or at least it was last time this came up.

It's still broken...Checked it on all my devices..I don't get an error, just the grey text that will not disappear like it usually does. If you manually remove it, then type in a search, although the text remains grey, it does actually perform a DB search and gives you the results. It's not something I've ever come across before though.

Same thing's happening on my Mac Mini using Chrome or Safari

Yes, as of now 18:00 UK time the search function is still not working as it should, although it can be used. Avatars are back and as far as I can tell all are working correctly.

To use the search function as it is now, you need to remove the text ( "Search Forums") from the dialogue box by using the arrow and backspace keys. Then type in your search parameters as normal and hit enter. Although the text you type in appears to be greyed out, the function itself is still operating as it should. A script issue maybe?

Can you open the image in a new window and tell me what it says.

Thanks

I think the Tapatalk plugin is broken at the moment. While I can log into other forums I can't log into MR. I get a message saying something to the effect of mismatched plugin or something like that. If it pops up again I'll take a screen capture.

Been logging in every day just fine, now I'm getting the same issue.

Got to load MR and get two messages:

Cannot connect to forum
This form is either restricting access
from tapatalk HD or the installed
tapatalk HD plugin is not working.

System message
Package final version doesn't match
With the installed version, please
Go to your forums Admin-cp
