@arn I’m not seeing the ability to mark threads as read on iOS.

Update here, and also on 68KMLA have made posting / and some browsing impossible on modern PPC browsers based on Firefox.

The WYSIWYG will not load, and many icons / fonts do not properly load on the browsers.

May be end of the line for PowerPC browsing / posting, as I am sure the new features / security updates are more valuable than keeping old systems online.

I just noticed that, over the past couple of days, I no longer see the option to mark a thread as “read” without opening it.

I thought that it may have been because my MacRumors yearly subscription lapsed, but I just resubscribed and I still don’t see the “Mark as Read” option.

Anyone know what happened to this?

It’s because MR updated their “software” and they removed the feature to do that individually. Not sure who came up with this dumb idea.

And if you’re seeing your screen coming to a abrupt halt when you’re scrolling in the forums, it’s not your phone. That’s another “new feature” someone at MR thought would be a good idea.

The old website worked just fine except for the part where it defaults to “Trending” tab. Hope they change those back to the way they were.

EDIT: EDIT: Looks like there are enough disappointed MR users that they decided to bring back the “Mark read” for individual threads. Your wish came true my friend @s2mike
Now if they could just fix the scrolling and not make it feel like a 1990s website.

That scrolling bs is annoying me so bad right now.

I am having weird scroll issues in Safari on iOS 26, that I didn’t have before the update.
In the thread overview inside a forum, scrolling occasionally stops all of a sudden. Or when changing the direction, it is acting all weird, stops scrolling or jumping up and down and then stops.

It occurs only in the thread overview though. Not inside a thread and not in the forum list.

😵‍💫
Same for me.

I am having an error where on every new post I make it says "12 minutes ago" and when attempting to edit a post, it duplicated in the thread upon finishing the edit.

This is a strange one. Can you post me a screenshot shot when that happens? Any reply?

When I load threads, it starts out half way through the thread instead of going to the bottom like it used to. I think thats another bug.
